New Age of Malaysian Chinese Drama

Previously, I am not a Malaysian-made chinese dramas fan or followers. But after I watch a few series, I really fall in love with the chinese dramas. Looks like the Malaysian-made chinese dramas have improved considerably over the years. I often find that Malaysian dramas are either too lame and there are not many talented casts around. In addition, the dramas not only have good looking actors and pretty actress, it have nice theme songs too! Now NTV7 is airing "Age Of Glory", the series that I thought is boring as it is a story about three ladies in 1970s. However, I begin to glued to TV each time when this show is up.
The good thing about the Internet is that you can watch all the series from NTV7 website catch up tv section. For the drama series fan, I attached the series theme song below (I will upload the songs in stages). Enjoy it!

The Beginning: Jianing(Felicia Chin), Shi TieTou(Lin Yee Chung) and Zheng Yucheng (Shaun Chen)have known each other since they were young. They grew up together, and had once made a common wish to be successful in life in the future. However, the three of them end up walking a different path when they grow up. Good friends become enemies and lovers are torn apart. It is the hand of fate toying with them indeed! Jianing was born into a small, happy family. However, her father abandons Jianing and her mother to marry a rich woman instead. Thereafter, Jianing’s mother dies from cancer. Her father shows no concern at all regarding this. During an argument, Jianing injures her father who reports the incident to police and causes her to go to jail. This deepens Jianing’s hatred, which spills over to include her stepsister Yu Tingli(Stella Chung). Tingli is a doctor. She is pretty and kindhearted. However, due to a strict upbringing from her mother, Tingli has developed a secretly rebellious nature. After she gets to know Yucheng, Jianing and TieTou, she experiences a new side of life, which she has never felt before. She also begins to fall for the hearty and positive Yucheng.

Hong Quan and Aunt Ping have three sons and two daughters. Hong Quan who suffers from heart disease, runs Ah Hong’s Bakery. Aunt Ping, who helps out at the bakery, often pushes her husband to exercise and keep himself healthy so that he will not fall sick and become a burden to the family. Aunt Ping is a great wife who also cooks very well. She loves to whip up sumptuous meals for her children and grandchildren to come home to. Armed with a good sense of propriety, Aunt Ping is the pillar of the household and a strict mother as well.
