Igentis Bubble Tea @ Tropicana City Mall, Petaling Jaya

This outlet is actually a branch from their successful branch in Jaya Jusco Bandar Baru Klang. Compared to the outlet in Klang, the food here taste ordinary only. I tried their fried beehoon and rice items in the Klang outlet before. I thought it would be the same but I was wrong. Maybe the food quality drop because it is managed by foreign workers!

Taste:5/10(So-so. The beef in the udon noodles is quite hard and I can't swollow it after chewing it for long time! The fried bean curd is too salty. The only main attraction here is of course its bubble tea drinks. The peanut milk shake is quite good).
Price:5/10(Near expensive. The meals as shown below cost RM38).

Black pepper chicken rice.

Home made bean curd. Too salty.

Danish Selection Strawberry Jam

Taste:8/10(Rich strawberry taste & it is easy to apply on bread. The content is watery compared to other jam in the market. Maybe the process of making which exclude the boiling process created such watery content. From the first look, I won't buy it, but after a recommendation from a colleague, I try it and I like it).
Price:6/10(Moderate. Price at RM10.85 it is consider quite worth while as it weight 400g).

Restaurant Lala Chong @ Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya

This Lala Chong seafood restaurant is quite popular in Petaling Jaya area and have two branches. The main branch is just opposite the Terminal 3 of Subang Airport. Today, my colleague and I went to the Ara Damansara outlet to have a birthday lunch. We have around 8 dishes there, namely yee sang, stir fry pucuk paku, bean curd with loofah, dry style chicken, sweet & sour fish, fried sotong(squid), kong po style mantis prawn & stir fry Brussels sprouts. Overall, the dishes here is quite good but we missed out the main attraction here which is lala. Maybe every is not in the mood of trying their lala on that day. My stomach also can't withstand lala as I will get stomach ache if eat too much lala.

Taste:8/10(Good. My favourite pucuk paku were well prepared and the fried squid is crispy and added with salted egg which amplified the aroma. This is the first time that I tasted loofah which is well prepared. Its soft and sweet. The mantis prawn & the Brussels sprouts are rather ordinary).
Price:6/10(Moderate. The price is quite reasonable considering we ordered quite a number of dishes. The bill don't cost a bomb around RM260 for 11 persons).

No pork served.

Delicious pucuk paku.
