Siti Khatijah market @ Kota Bharu, Kelantan

Siti Khadijah Market (Pasar besar Siti Khadijah), is a local wet market. Its name after Prophet Muhammad's wife, whom is known for her entrepreneurial skill, as this market is mostly run by women. Apart from the usual fresh goodies like seafood, vegetables and wide variety of fruits, you can also find ready-to eat food like 'ayam percik', nasi ulam and a variety of noodle soups, all unique in flavors and taste of Kelantan, serves freshly for you. Not to forget to taste the local desserts like 'kuih muih', tempeh and hot milk tea, which is the staple drink for Kelantanese.

Pasar wet market is featured in many documentary and TV programme. This is not a normal market. The market architecture itself is a fascinating sight. It was build in octagon shape and resembles the chinese 'pakua' shape. Another interesting feature is that every seller in the wet market is malay lady sitting at the centre of their stall. This market have 4 main section: wet market, dry stuff, clothes item & food court.

They also sells weapons and bronze cookery here.

Never seen such chili before in Klang Valley.
