YES - Really the fastest 4G mobile Internet with voice

After hearing much hype and good comment of YES 4G from YTL Communication, I plan to try it out. Only after 1 day of usage, I know that this device is not a joke and they really promise what they mentioned in the advertisement. Its really 3 times to 5 times faster than 3G. I was very frustrated with my Celcom Broadband recently as it always drop to Edge network instead of 3G network. They promised that I can get around 384-512kbps but I actually only gets around 50-60kbps which is actually not acceptable by today's standard. What actually shocked me is that Celcom decided to reduce its data download on its MYR68 plan from 5GB per month to 3GB per month. By doing this, they increase the speed from 384kbps to 512kbps. But I don't get the speed that what I suppose to get from their 3G network.

With YES, I can surf the Internet with speed of up to 10Mbps and the minimum that I get is 4Mbps. Its really fast and watching youtube without much lagging. All the webpages loaded in split seconds. But of course the downside of YES, is they charge based on how much data you use. The more data you use, the more they charge you. YES becomes more attractive now as they introduced the value pack of MYR68. It give you 3.5GB data, 150 minutes of free call & 150 free SMS. I know from my previous data usage seldom hit 3GB per month so I can safely use YES & its really for me. With such speed, it is very tempting to watch videos, download stuff & view pictures online. For heavy user with 10Gb data per month, they can always opt for MYR150 value pack. What's more is that you can use YES credit to call home when you are in overseas just like how Skype works.

I believe that YES speed will stay with such business model of charging based on data usage. People will control their data usage and they they won't use it for torrent download/simply download without purpose and as a result the network is not congested. When the network is not congested, everyone will get fast speed network. I don't understand why some people waste electricity by letting their computer switch on 24 hours a day just to download tons of movies that they don't even have time to watch. YES seems to have a good reputation now as they give 10Gb of data for free when their network & www.yes.my website having problem when they first launch. Does TM or Celcom give you anything when their network went kaput?

Average 4.03Mbps. On the par with UniFi.

4G Dongle. In your first payment, you need to buy the Dongle (MYR99) + Activation fee of MYR50 + YES credit of MYR30 for first usage. If you satisfied with the speed and coverage, you may continue to top up either MYR30 or MYR68 (value pack) based on your usage. The Dongle is actually free as you will get back MYR10 per month as YES credit for 10 months.

Wynn water fountain show @ Macau

This water fountain is actually from the same supplier & using the same technology of the famous Las Vegas Bellagio water fountain. Visit my Las Vegas link. Although this water fountain pool not as big as Las Vegas one, but it has the fire performance feature which is more dramatic. You can feel the heat from the pool if you stay near the pool during the performance.
