Dragon-i Restaurant @ Aeon Bukit Tinggi Klang

Dragon-i restaurant is famous for their Shanghainese dishes and Shanghainese steamed meat dumplings also known as xiao long bao. If you like dumpling and to watch la mian (hand-pulled) noodles making process, then this is the place for you to have your meal. Located at ground floor of Aeon Bukit Tinggi Shopping Complex, Dragon-i have quite an extensive menu to try on.

Taste:8/10(Good. Their xiao long bao is good and I like the hot soup inside the dumpling which is tasty. Fried radish cake with XO sauce is good with wok heat taste. However, fried rice is on the low side as its a bit tasteless. The hand-pulled noodles is just nice).
Price:5/10(Near expensive. Price wise, this restaurant is on the high side of Chinese meal. MYR18.00 for pork rib noodles, MYR9.80 for four pieces of xiao long bao. Fried rice at MYR18.00 and fried radish cake at MYR18.00. The total bill amounted MYR90.00)

Xiao long bao (Shanghainese steamed meat dumplings). Savour the soup and eat it with ginger and vinegar. Tasty dumpling.

Fried radish cake with XO sauce. This meal is good and tasty as well.

Fried rice. I don't quite like this dish as its tasteless and without the wok flavour which good fried rice should have.

Pork rib which comes with la mian noodles soup. I found out this pork rib is oily but taste wise is good and well marinated.

Yatsuhashi - Best souvenir from Kyoto, Japan

Yatsuhashi a delicious Kyoto snack. Its also known as hijiri is made with cinnamon, but the cinnamon is mixed with bean paste and then folded into the hijiri to make a triangle-shape. Today, you can buy a wide variety of flavors, including matcha/green tea, chocolate, banana and black sesame. Yatsuhashi, meaning eight bridges. Nama Yatsuhashi has a soft triangle-shaped sweet, mochi-like texture and is often eaten wrapped around red bean paste or other fillings. As with all Japanese food, aesthetics is important. You can get this sweet anywhere in Kyoto whether in supermarkets, souvenir shops or markets.

Taste:8/10(Good. Soft and mochi like texture of sweet. I like it since I like sweet stuff).
Price:5/10(Near expensive. One box of 10 pieces of Nama Yutsuhashi will cost at least 530 Yen).

Delicious Nama Yatshuhashi from a store at the stairs towards Kiyomizu-dera temple.

Try each one to determine the flavour you like most.

Most of the Yatsuhashi shops that I went provides generous amount of samples.
