Peter's Fish Head Curry, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur

Recommended by Au Yong, this restaurant does have good fish head curry. Located at Jalan Angsana, Setapak, this place is usually packed during lunch hour. Besides fish head curry, they also serve green vegetables & bean curd.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. The fish head meat is fresh and the coconut milk in the curry does smell 'real', probably not from packet type of coconut milk. There are generous amount of brinjals, ladies' fingers, long beans, cabbage & tauhu pok in the curry. Another plus point for the curry is that it was not spicy at all and does not contain much spices as compared to indian curry. I like it because I can't stand the spicyness of some food. The vegetables was good as well).
Price:6/10(Moderate. The price is based on what you add into your curry. They have prawns & squid as well).

Good fish head curry goes well with rice.

The vegetable is simple but well done.

This typical chinese style curry colour is bright as not much spices were used.

They close on Tuesday.

This is how the shop look like.
