Why best flight experience on Singapore airlines economy class - Hong Kong to San Francisco

During my recent trip to USA, I have a chance this round to experience Singapore Airlines flight. All this while I don't have the chance to try it due to the flight price is always on high side. This time I able to get a good deal for around USD580 for return trip from Hong Kong to San Francisco. I always wonder why the airlines have the best ranking and well commented in the airlines industry. I will tell you why from the picture below. Most of the things are well thought off for best customer in-flight experience. Flight from Hong Kong to San Francisco takes around 13 hours.

Clean and nice interface. The screen quality is better than most airlines.

Additional seat pockets for passenger to keep their stuff. This good to keep my phones, water or maybe medicine. The cup handle also provided.

Although I just in economy class, but I get free ear phones with plane adapter. Good strategy especially if your passenger always bring to use the ear phones when they are flying no matter in which airlines.

High quality and like a PlayStation Vita type of console. Some airlines only provide this kind of console in business or first class.

Proper menu booklet for economy class.

Budget stay in 5footway.inn Project Boat Quay @ Singapore

Renovated from two storey old shop lot. This contemporary hostel have clean rooms with sufficient facilities. Breakfast and filtered water provided. Location is excellent as near to Clarke Quay and 5-10 minutes walk to Clarke Quay MRT station. The hostel is located within bar and food area. On top floor, there is a balcony where you can have great view of Marina Bay Sands and Fullerton hotel which is located opposite the river. Value for money. Free flow coffee and nice view from the terrace. However this is hostel which only have shared bathroom. Limited choice of breakfast menu, either bread(with jams or butter) or cereals with milk. The cereal taste is not fresh. Bathroom and toilet a bit far from my room and the finding ways is tough at first as the layout is like a maze. Some toilet is smelly and don't seems to be clean. Breakfast needs to be improved.

Rating:7/10(Overall moderate. Cheap and great for budget traveller to Singapore. Location is very central and fantastic. The breakfast and toilet needs improvement).

Hotel 81 Rochor @ Singapore

Hotel 81 is a famous hotel chain in Singapore. They offers many types of room to suits everyone needs. When you ask someone about the hotel 81 chain, they will say something like... can rent the room by hours.... for hooker ar.... not so clean la. But the Hotel 81 branch that I chosen is actually quite good. The room is not only clean but it has all the necessary amenities that I need. The location is a 10 minutes walk to Bugis station. Near by you can get a lot food as this hotel near Bugis Market and food court. If you are IT or gadget freak, it is located just beside Sim Lim mall. They also have television, free high speed WIFI access & powerful shower bath. I was on business trip here but can't find any good hotel as it was a last minute booking. So I just book based on the good review and reasonable price.

Rating:7/10(Recommended for person who don't really spend much time in the room. All the basic amenities are provided. The room are clean and the staff are helpful. However, the walking distance of 10 minutes to the Bugis station is a bit far if the weather is sunny hot).
Price:7/10(Very good price considering Singapore standard. Around SGD110 per night per room based on twin sharing basis).

The toilet.

Boiler and water provided daily.

Clarke Quay @ Singapore

Clarke Quay, located beside Singapore river is formerly a historical site. This area is the biggest river conservation project in Singapore. Clarke Quay nowadays has transformed into famous nightclubs and venue to Ministry of Sound. There is a shopping complex (The Central) above the Clarke Quay MRT station. This place is famous for photography enthusiast and the night scene is quite beautiful & colourful.

Welcome to Clarke Quay.

Clarke Quay is just beside Singapore River.

Colourful scenes. The developer consider about the hot weather in Singapore. You can see they have strong air-cooler everywhere under the canopy.

Same scene but colour change.

Nice canopy.

Very crowded night life.

Drinking from blood packet. Yak!

Have a drink on wheel chair. Hospital concept. This bar has all the bar attendant dress like nurse.

Modern area but still maintaining some of the old look.

They also have extreme rides over here.

The ball will just swing upwards.

Extreme swing. 5G wow!
