Koi Kei Pastelaria @ Macau

I am trying to clear all my backlogs. Another entry from my Hong Kong trip. Koi Kei is a famous brand selling biscuit and candy in Macau. Nearly everyone who visit Macau will buy they tasty cookies to bring home. I love their almond cookies very much and it has chunk of small almond inside which prove its originality. Unlike other almond biscuit which contain a lot of flavoring, I can say that this cookies is natural. Besides the original almond cookies, they have many varieties such as hand made almond cookies, black sesame version and even meat floss version.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. Do try their black sesame version of almond cookie. It's better than the plain version).
Price:5/10(Near Expensive. Their biscuit is not cheap considering that Macau is a tourist destination. A box containing 12 pieces of biscuit cost around MYR15. However, its good and original).


The shop is very packed during weekend. Koi Kei have many outlets around Macau & Hong Kong.

Historical Sites in Macau

Macau is such a unique place. On one side, you can visit all the historical sites and on another side you can visit all the Casinos. Located across the Pearl River estuary from Hong Kong, until 1999 Macau was an overseas territory of Portugal.

A must visit place in Macau. Ruins of St Paul. This is Macau icon and maybe the most photographed historic building in Macau. Behind the facade is the Museum of Sacred Art and Crypt, which occupies the chancel of the church, contains archaeological excavations of the site and also exhibits and paintings on early Christian life in the East. The crypt contains the remains of martyrs of Christians killed in the 17th century.

The Venetian @ Cotai, Macau

The Venetian Macao is owned by the Las Vegas Sands corporation. It is the largest single structure hotel building in Asia. The resort itself is pretty huge with high-end stores surrounded by nice Venetian environment.

Wynn water fountain show @ Macau

This water fountain is actually from the same supplier & using the same technology of the famous Las Vegas Bellagio water fountain. Visit my Las Vegas link. Although this water fountain pool not as big as Las Vegas one, but it has the fire performance feature which is more dramatic. You can feel the heat from the pool if you stay near the pool during the performance.
