Jenny Bakery Cookies from Hong Kong

Recently a friend back from Hong Kong brought me this Jenny Bakery cookies. I am quite surprised with the good taste of this cookies especially their butter and coffee cookies. No wonder they dare to claim that they are "A true Hong Kong Treat" and "Probably the best cookies in the world" wow... The cookies is famous for heavy after taste of butter and the shop always has long queue. Their constant change on the packaging design is also the main attraction to their cookies.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. The cookies are very rich, buttery, creamy and crumbly which melts in your mouth. The quality of the cookies is also quite consistent. For first timer, do buy their 4 mix butter cookies with butter flower, shortbread, raisin oat and coffee flower. I personally find that butter flower is the best followed by coffee flower).
Price:4/10(Near expensive. The cookie price at HKD75 for small container of 320 gram and HKD140 for 640 gram).

HK Boy Cart Noodles @ Bukit Tinggi, Klang

HK Boy Cart Noodles is a chain restaurant serving Hong Kong cart style food with noodles as their specialty. The cart noodles are quite popular in Hong Kong during the 1950s with the carts operating on roadsides in public low income housing estates. Over the years, those carts has vanished but the noodles styles has been spread into cafes. HK Boy Cart Noodles outlet menu are quite extensive and you can mix and match your noodles with sides such as pig intestines, luncheon meat, chicken feet, pigs' blood and many more. There are around 35 sides for you to choose from their complicated menu. There are 5 steps in the selection of your bowl of noodles. For step 1, you need to choose whether you want soup or dry noodles. Step 2, less spicy or mild spicy. Step 3, types of noodles. Step 4, the flavour of the noodles. You can choose from beef tendon sauce, braised sauce, curry sauce, tomato broth, spicy or fin soup. And lastly step 5 is to add the sides that you want.

Taste:8/10(Good. The noodles were good and the broth has strong taste. However, the soup with braised sauce is a bit salty. I order two bowls of their noodles with more traditional sides such as pig intestines, pigs' blood, braised beef tendon and braised beef).
Price:6/10(Moderate. Noodles with 2 sides price at MYR10.90 and 3 sides at MYR12.90. Sides with beef will be charged extra MYR3.90).


Doggie noodles is like Udon. This bowl of noodles has pigs' blood, intestine and braised beef.

This is wanton noodles with intestines and braised beef tendon.

The wanton noodles here is similar to what I had in Hong Kong. Very crunchy type.

Why best flight experience on Singapore airlines economy class - Hong Kong to San Francisco

During my recent trip to USA, I have a chance this round to experience Singapore Airlines flight. All this while I don't have the chance to try it due to the flight price is always on high side. This time I able to get a good deal for around USD580 for return trip from Hong Kong to San Francisco. I always wonder why the airlines have the best ranking and well commented in the airlines industry. I will tell you why from the picture below. Most of the things are well thought off for best customer in-flight experience. Flight from Hong Kong to San Francisco takes around 13 hours.


Clean and nice interface. The screen quality is better than most airlines.

Additional seat pockets for passenger to keep their stuff. This good to keep my phones, water or maybe medicine. The cup handle also provided.

Although I just in economy class, but I get free ear phones with plane adapter. Good strategy especially if your passenger always bring to use the ear phones when they are flying no matter in which airlines.

High quality and like a PlayStation Vita type of console. Some airlines only provide this kind of console in business or first class.

Around Hong Kong Central

Another entry from my backlog trip. Central Hong Kong is the center of shopping, entertainment and nightlife. Packed with busy street and life, this area houses many multinational companies headquarters and it is the financial centre of Hong Kong. For tourist, this is the place where you can find many International branded items and visit to a few historical building located near the area.


Huge Coach outlet. Anyway, Coach in Hong Kong is not cheap.

Lan Kwai Fung. Night life, bars & pubs area. Famous for celebrities sightings.

This mid-level escalator is never ending. So long! No wonder this is the longest escalator in the world!

Looking for directions? Don't worry. Hong Kong are tourist friendly. They have signboard nearly everywhere.

Going back to Hong Kong at night via First Ferry Macau. But this you take you from Macau Jetty to Kowloon ferry terminal. The Kowloon ferry terminal is near to East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station.

Beef Noodles @ Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong

In Hong Kong you can smell almost everywhere selling beef noodles. The beef noodles here is indeed delicious as compared to Malaysia. I not sure what they put to cook the broth but almost all the shops here have the same distinctive smell. I ordered a bowl of mixed beef noodles here but I not sure what are the organs that they used. It tasted so good.

Taste:10/10(Excellent. Very delicious beef noodles).
Price:6/10(Moderate. If I not mistake the beef noodles with a cup of drink cost HKD21).

Around Mong Kok & Yau Ma Tei in Hong Kong

Mong Kok & Yau Ma Tei area in Hong Kong is considered as the densest area in the world with almose 5,500 person staying with one kilometre perimeter. Due to this, you can see huge number of people everywhere here. This is the best place for people watching and have fun within the crowd with abundance street food to Saviour.

Hong Kong Museum of History

This is a really great museum. You can learn a lot of Hong Kong culture and history in this museum. Each display has its own narration and they have many video session to make you understand of Hong Kong history. I really enjoyed video about the what have today after the return to China. There is also video on Hong Kong disaster, water crisis back in the 70s, TVB dramas of the 70s & Opium war. Below are some of the interesting stuff captured in the museum.
