New York Times Square

Times Square is a major commercial intersection in the Manhattan in New York City, at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue and stretching from West 42nd to West 47th Streets. You are not considered as visiting New York City if you not have a look around here. The bill boards display over here is amazing. Although it is a main commercial area, the crowd, the actions and the items display is worth to look at. I am quite lucky to be able to meet up a friend over here which I communicate via messenger. He is on work for vacation programme in the US. Here is the venue of huge celebration for New Year each year to watch the symbolic ball drop. If you are the fans of Broadway show, you can watch it here. Broadway show may cost from USD60 to USD200 per show. You able to get the discounted ticket from the TKTS booth in Times Square or South Street Seaport. Major Broadway shows screening now are Chicago, The Lion King, The Phantom of The Opera, Memphis, Mamma Mia! and etc...

New York has a centralize district heating system. There is piping system underground which pump heat to the streets and building around the city. The centralize heating is to lower down the cost of generating heat in the city rather than each building generates its own heat. This is the smoke which you always see in the movie/drama.
