Old Town of Alexandria, Virginia

Old town is a must see in Alexandria. Many events going on here all week long. I would suggest that one walk up and down King street to enjoy the shops and restaurants. The buildings here is interesting because some of them are more than 100 years old. There are cultural/seasonal events held in the Waterfront Park as well. Cool bars with their own fare are also abound. This area is designed to cater to tourists, but you will find plenty of locals and those who work in the area at all the establishments.
