Hoe Kee Chicken Rice Ball, Jonker Street(Jalan Hang Jebat), Malacca

Price:6/10(Moderate. Around RM8 per person).

Hoe Kee chicken rice ball.

Chicken rice ball.

Cabbage.

They also have "loose" chicken rice. Funny.

The chicken is rather normal.

After lunch dessert-Jonker Dessert, Jonker Street, Malacca
Taste:9/10(Delicious. The Baba chendul is good. You must mix all the ingredient together to form a watery chendul to get the best from the gula melaka. Don't eat without mixing all the ingredient).
Price:8/10(Cheap. Each bowl priced RM1.50).

Next we have dessert in this Jonker Dessert stall.

Jonker street is so jam & the queue for the dessert is damn long!

This is the famous Baba chendul.

Busy preparing chendul for customers.

Dinner-Portuguese settlement seafood, Malacca.
Taste:5/10(So-so. The seafood here don't taste as good as in Klang. The cooking method is rather normal and nothing to shout about. And they are out of prawn. I wonder why this place is so packed. Good marketing of course).
Price:6/10(Moderate. The meal cost around RM23 per person. Menu with crab, scallop, squid, fish, vegetables & chicken).

Portuguese settlement seafood.

Fried squid. Nothing to shout about.

The seafood is rather normal.

Malacca Trip

It has been three years since I last been to Malacca. There are much changes to the traffic here. Going into Malacca via Air Keroh toll plaza is a hassle. The long jam there especially during holiday season. On the tourist attraction sites, there are not much changes seen except to the introduction of Eyes of Malacca & river cruise. I sse that there are couple of big banners and stage setup during the China president visit to Malacca back in November 2009. Below is a couple of shots taken during my recent Malacca trip.

A glimpse at Jonker Street.

Malacca river cruise.

Interesting flower. Look like ladybird stick on the flower.

Wishing well but no more water.

Cheng Hoon Teng temple.

Kampung Kling mosque.

Seremban Breakfast - Food Hunt

My colleague and I were on the way to Malacca. We were on the way to visit a colleague which just completed her full moon. We go there in three separate cars and all cars stop at different place to have breakfast before heading to Melaka. The car that my mom & I took were instead head to Seremban to try their delicacy there. We stop by Seremban to have breakfast there. Siew pau & dim sum. Suprisingly, the dim sum shop that we simply choose, taste better than the best in Klang. Our food club president is good in choosing & hunting for good food.

Kee Mei Seremban Siew Pau
Taste:9/10(Delicious siew pau. The pau is just nice and not over cooked. Their egg tart is just normal).
Price:8/10(Cheap. Each pork siew pau priced at RM1.20)

They have chicken siew pau, egg tarts, apple pie, coffee bread and others confectionary.
