Arc de Triomphe @ Champs Elysees, Paris

Arc de Triomphe is one of the most famous monuments in Paris and it is located at the centre of Place Charles de Gaulle roundabout. Attempt to cross the roundabout from Champs Elysees is suicidal attempt. The roundabout has 12 intersection and its chaotic. So if you want to go to Arc de Triomphe, please use the underpass located just at the end of Champs Elysees. This monument is to honour those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and the Napoleonic Wars. You can see that the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces.
