Sundemans Paris Free Tour

Since my New York trip, I like the idea of free walking tour very much. Basically, you don't need to pay for the walking tour. All you need to do is to book the tour online and just turn up at the location and time specified by the walking tour organizer. The walking tour usually takes around 3 hours to 6 hours. At the end of the tour, you can just tip the tour guide. If you like the tour, then you just tip them more since they deserved it. In my opinion, all the tour guide are very professional and very good at story telling. At each interest point, they will describe the history and story behind it. From there, you save a lot of time by finding each attraction one by one by yourself. Besides that, someone are telling you the history and you just pay attention to listen to them and you don't need to do in depth research to understand it. And if you have any questions, you may just ask them and the tour guide is happy to explain it to you. By taking this walking tour, you will pass by or able to view the following places:

-View of Notre Dame de Paris
-View of the Eiffel Tower
-Napoléon’s Tomb
-Walk at Tuileries Gardens
-Assemblée National
-View of the Grand & Petit Palais
-Haussmann’s Paris
-View of the Pont Alexandre III
-Latin Quarter
-Pont Neuf
-Place de la Concorde
-View of the Champs-Elysées
-View of the Opéra Garnier
-View of the Arc de Triomphe
-Walk around The Louvre
-Palais Royal
-Musée d’Orsay
-View of Ile-de-la-Cité
-View of Les Invalides

After my hotel check-in, you go straight to this free tour. Sundemans tour offered in both English and Spanish. If possible, try to have the free tour on the day you arrive to a destination. Using the knowledge and tips that you gain from the tour, you can use it on your subsequent travelling days. The tour usually will just pass by the monument or place of interest. They will not bring you in there. If you like the place, you may enter it at your own cost and you know how to go there on other day.

Quite a number of people turn up for the free Paris tour. The waiting point is at St Michel fountain.

Paris subway signboard.

Paris Notre Dame (centre).

Such a beautiful scenery. Full of centuries old buildings.

Statue of King Henry IV. Henry showed great care for the welfare of his subjects and displayed an unusual religious tolerance for the time called a politique.

Another nice view of Paris beside Seine.

Castle like building.

This bridge full of LOVE locks.

This is what I meant. A lot.

The most visited museum in the world. Lourve. Easily recognised via the glass pyramid outside. I will tell you on the other entry on why I think this museum is not the best although it received a very high number of visitors.

You can see that Paris is not a very clean place. There are much rubbish on the street as you can see in this picture.

McDonalds also on French style building.

Nice cutting trees. You may look at the impressive trees in Château de Versailles on my future entries.

On Champ de Elysee looking towards Arc de Triomphe.
