SOHO KL @ Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur

At first, I thought SOHO is small office home office but it is actually Solaris Hotspotz. Getting to this building is a real headache for me as this is my first time here. The signboard leading to this place is confusing. By the time I set a foot on the building, I just realised that SOHO KL is just situated beside NKVE highway and is quite near Jalan Duta Government Administrative offices. The main attraction here is fine dining, after dinner entertainment centres and several signature restaurants. Among the big brands here are Dubrovnik - The first Croatian restaurant, Tenji - The largest Japanese contemporary buffet restaurant in South East Asia, Ole-Ole Bali & Murmur, Michelangelo. But what attract me most is still their Cold Storage store. It has so much imported items that can't be found in any other places in Malaysia. It has a wide selection of western food, japanese food, korean food, dairy products and wines. If you want to find something from foreign countries and if you can't get it somewhere else, then try here.

Tropicana City Mall @ Petaling Jaya

Tropicana City is a signature location created by Dijaya Corporation Bhd. It is strategically located at the crossroads of the LDP Highway and Sprint Damansara. I do wonder whether the existing road there able to accormodate the already bad traffic in that area. Currently, the mall is still around 40% empty and their main tanant, Carrefour already in operation. In future, you will need to purchase RM30 from Carrefour in order to get free parking. As of now, the parking there is still free.

I brought this sushi set from Aeon Bukit Tinggi Klang and I think it is more economical than if you brought the item one by one. This set only cost around RM10 and it has all the items I want.

Hakka Restaurant @ Jalan Kia Peng, Kuala Lumpur

Hakka restaurant which is located just opposite Pavilion KL, is a famous eatery place in Bukit Bintang area. One would easily locate the restaurant by their large signboard and the large area occupied. The restaurant area is so big that it can easily accommodate more than 100 tables in one time. This is the third time I am here and I have the urge to blog about it this time.

Taste:8/10(Good.I would think that this restaurant is good at preparing traditional chinese dishes such as pork, egg & seafood. Their stir fry vegetables is just normal while the japanese bean curd dish taste rather blend. However, their mixed vegetables egg is rather good & the braised pork with red bean cube also worth the mention. Their special made bean curd with salted vegetables is also a must try item).
Price:5/10(Near expensive. I still thinks that the food here is over rated and more expensive compared to normal chinese restaurant. Anyway, this is what you will get from a famous chinese restaurant with an ambient environment).

Non-halal.

Water ceast soup.

Stir fry vegetables. Just normal.

Best Seafood Restaurant @ Pulau Indah, Port Klang

Today I going back to office in Pulau Indah for the reservation system upgrade. I have my lunch here and found that their food quality still remain the same which is good. I always miss the food here since my team moved to Wisma Genting in Kuala Lumpur. To reach his restaurant, you will need to travel using KESAS highway heading to Pulau Indah. It is just located beside Star Cruises Terminal.

Taste:8/10(Good. Their assam curry fish or assam curry squid is a must try item. The taste is simply amazingly good).
Price:7/10(Reasonable).

Pork free.

Hot plate bean curd.

Marmite chicken. Yes, it is the British marmite in the bottle!

Ichiban Boshi @ Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur

This is my second entry on this japanese eating place. I still think this restaurant is a better place compared to other japanese restaurant in terms of quality & price.

Taste:8/10(Good. What can I say? It is still delicious sushi, temaki, tempura, sashimi & good miso soup. However, it is still not enough to get more than 8 points from me as there are still room of improvement of some of the items such as their beef dishes).
Price:4/10(Near expensive. If take the food quality & price into account, this outcome is still better compared to other japanese restaurant).

Halal.

Spicy Pan Mee @ Restaurant Super Kitchen, Kuala Lumpur

After tried the Damansara Perdana branch, I went to try on their branch opposite Kin Kin near Jalan Raja Laut, Kuala Lumpur. My colleague is addicted to the wholesomeness of spicy pan mee after I introduce to them last week.

Taste:7/10(As usual their Thai style bean curd is good but their chili is a bit bitter. The chili is over fried. However it is still good when add in moderation. The amount of minced pork is less when compared to Kin Kin).
Price:6/10(Moderate. The dry pan mee will cost you RM5 & Thai style bean curd at RM10 for 10 pieces. I notice that the dry pan mee here is cheaper than the branch in Damansara Perdana. Maybe they have a competitor on the opposite shop).

Non-halal.

Menu selection. The main dish. Spicy pan mee.

Thai style bean curd. Quite good with cucumber, peanut, sesame seed & thai sauce.

Main item. Spicy chili. Must add it to pan mee in order to get a tasty pan mee.
