Vacation @ Bali, Indonesia

Bali also known as the Island of the Gods, with its varied landscape of hills and mountains, rugged coastlines and sandy beaches, lush rice terraces and barren volcanic hillsides all providing a picturesque backdrop to its colourful, deeply spiritual and unique culture, stakes a serious claim to be paradise on earth.

With world-class surfing and diving, a large number of cultural, historical and archaeological attractions, and an enormous range of accommodations, this is one of the world's most popular island destinations and one which consistently wins travel awards. Bali has something to offer a very broad market of visitors from young back-packers right through to the super-rich.

Visiting to Bali is a pleasant experience for me. Beautiful places, charming sea waves, fantastic volcanic mountain view & of course unique food makes this place a must visit destination. With such a great attraction coupled with knowledgeable tourguide makes travelling around Bali as simple, organized & fruitful.

My tips before visiting a place: Do a lot of research on place that you want to go & take effort to check out the food before leaving for the trip. Don't waste time by looking for this when you are on the trip and there is chances that you may not get what you wanted to see. So plan well & tell your guide where you want to go. Its easy that way rather than people need to think for you.

Bebek Bengil(Dirty Duck Diner) @ Ubud, Bali

This place is very famous for its crispy duck & we have dinner at that time. There is a story behind why this the dish called dirty duck. The origin of the name started when the place was being built. While squeezing out some ideas, a flock of ducks walked nonchalantly from the paddy fields surrounding the restaurant, squawking their way and leaving their webbed footprints all over the floor! Since the ducks were unofficially the first ‘customers’ waltzing into the still yet to be ready restaurant, the name Dirty Duck Diner has stuck since then.

Taste:10/10(Excellent. This is the best duck that I tasted. Crispy and able to eat the bones too).
Price:3/10(Expensive. The crispy duck meal cost Rp72,000. Considering it is delicious, this is a must try item although it is a bit expensive. The portion is not that big. Don't be suprised by their word "half duck". Their duck is quite small. This restaurant also charge 15% tax).

Lookout for this signboard.

Ibu Oka Babi Guling @ Ubud, Bali

Ibu Oka located at Ubud, served a unique roasted pork. It very popular among the tourist to Bali and for me the pork is different compared to Malaysian version of suckling pig.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. The pork cooking style is different from what we have. The meat is juicy combined with additional stuff in their "special babi guling". It also comes with some fried pork stuff & pork sausage).
Price:6/10(Moderate.The "special babi guling" cost Rp30,000 per bowl).
