Peng Heong Hakka Pai Kut (Pork Rib) @ Klang, Selangor

Klang town not only famous for its bak kut teh. There is one stall which sells the famous pork rib king. The stall is initially located near the Seri Intan cinema (opposite Klang bus station) but it is relocated to Jalan Pasar in Klang (beside the large mosque). The special menu here is their pork rib, it is marinated for few hours before frying in hot oil. Although the pork rib taste good but I am not a fan of pork rib. I like pork leg more which is another popular item here.

Taste:8/10(The best item here is the fried pork ball. The pork rib here is a bit inconsistent. If you lucky, you get good tasting pai kut. So far, I only encountered once from many visit that the pai kut is not that good. The black vinegar pork is good as well).
Price:7/10(The food here is priced accordingly and service is fast. Fried pork ball at MYR1.00 each. Other dishes price depends on the size that you ordered).

Unique Seafood @ CITTA Mall, Ara Damamsara

Unique Seafood is a chain restaurant which serve fresh seafood and some of the seafood which hard to get somewhere else. Upon stepping into the restaurant, you will be amazed by the number of fish tank that they have. Its a great sign that they served fresh seafood. This restaurant is convenient for Citta mall shoppers.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. Fresh and good meal. Prawn and fish dishes are all recommended).
Price:4/10(Near expensive. Although the food here is good and fresh but the price is not cheap. However you pay for the quality food. Be prepared to spend more if you ordered their speciality such Grouper king, Alaskan crab or fresh oyster. Each dish of normal meal cost between MYR30 to MYR80).

Face to Face noodle house is a chain restaurant serving the regular noodles available in Malaysia. At the time of writing, they have 26 outlets. They serve Sarawak laksa, pan mee, wanton mee, rice noodles, rice, bread and dessert.

Taste:6/10(Moderate. The noodle taste is normal and nothing to shout about. The good thing about their outlet is convenient location, comfortable environment and wifi availability).
Price:6/10(Moderate. Sarawak laksa at MYR8.00, wanton soup at MYR4.80 for 5 pieces and dumpling at MYR6.00 for 5 pieces).

Kar Heong Restaurant @ SS14, Subang Jaya

Kar Heong restaurant located in SS14 Subang Jaya served great chicken rice, hor fun (thick rice vermicelli) and crunchy bean sprout from Ipoh. Besides that, they also have pork balls, roast pork and char siew. Do come early during lunch time as this place tend to get packed at that time as it is nearby to many colleges. This is one of my favourite place during lunch time.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. Recommended for their chicken rice, chicken hor fun and bean sprout. They have both dry and soup hor fun and taste silky smooth. The broth for soup hor fun is made from chicken and some prawn oil for the added heavenly flavour).
Price:7/10(Moderate. Their chicken hor fun price at MYR5.50, chicken hor fun with prawn wanton at MYR6.50 and chicken rice at MYR6.00).


Their dry hor fun with Ipoh bean sprouts is my favourite combination.

TGIF 2 Course Meal @ Paradigm Mall, Petaling Jaya

TGIF (Thank God Its Fridays) have a reasonable lunch set meal at MYR29.90++. Below is what I had during a farewell party for one of my colleagues.

Taste:8/10(Good. The key west white fish is good. I like the taste. For some people, it taste a bit sour but for me its just nice. Bruschetta that I ordered is quite good as well).
Price:6/10(Moderate. The 2 course meal lunch set price at MYR29.90 with a starter and a main meal. Subject to 10% service charge and 6% government tax).

The keywest white fish meal comes with herb rice.

Bruschetta is toasted garlic bread with tomato basil salsa drizzled balsamic glaze.
