Besides that they also have XO species which is bitter to taste.

Taste:10/10(Delicious. Good durian with thick and creamy flesh).
Price:6/10(Moderate. The price is not too expensive either. Each person is around RM15).

SS2 Durian

After a heavy western food, I proceed for a durian eating session in SS2. In SS2 along 2/75 street, you can see many stalls selling durian beside the road. Just pick a table, sit down and the person there will pick your order. It is just like restaurant but they just serve you durian. Their staff are very skillful in opening durian and they have many selection to choose from. Among the famous gene of durian that they have are raja kunyit, udang merah (ang heh), D24, Thraka & D101. The difference between the genes are the thickness of the flesh, sweetness, taste, colour & smell. Don't play-play, they have their own website: www.durianss2.com.

Taste:9/10(Offer good quality durian and plenty of selection).
Price:4/10(Expensive. Price wise, it is on higher end. One kilogram of durian price between MYR10 to MYR35 depends on the type).

Just pick a table and sit down.

Ordered XO. I like the bitterness of durian.

Complete with free flow of water, place to wash hands & tissue.

Address:
Jalan SS 2/75, SS2, 47300 Petaling Jaya,

Durian @ Balik Pulau, Penang

The trip to this area is indeed very far from the Penang airport. Thanks to one of my colleagues that has Penang map in his mind, our trip is smooth and well arranged.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. The taste of the Penang 'udang galah' species of durian is good and different than others).
Price:4/10(Near expensive. The durian sold at RM12 per kg).

Can't wait to taste it.

Wow... look at the flesh.

Newspaper claimed this stall is king of durian.
