Cruel history of Dachau concentration camp @ Germany

Dachau concentration camp is one of Germany’s first concentration camps in a small town of Dachau near Munich. The first 5,000 prisoners were political enemies of the Nazi regime. social, ethnic, and racial enemies were imprisoned as Dachau went on to become the only concentration camp to remain active during the entire Third Reich period (1933-1945).


The infamous Arbeit macht frei ("Freedom through work"). This gate bear witness to a regime of systematised murder, torture, degradation and exploitation.

This is the cruel gas chamber. Prisoners were tricked into this room then the door were shut tight. Poisonous gas was released to kill all the prisoners. The room even have the ventilator to clear the room after each killing and have the sewerage system to drain the liquid from bodies.

Incident when staying in Makati, Manila

Before I reached Makati, I heard a lot of bad publicity on the city of Manila itself. The Makati city is actually not bad in terms of working condition, shopping & lifestyle. However, when you are outside of it, the world seems to be changed. The imbalanced distribution on the national wealth, has lead to the huge gap in income between the rich & the poor. You can hardly see any middle income earner in the city. It would be either very rich or poor. Most of the people here blame the current condition to the dictator rule or Ferdinand Marcos and poor management of the previous administration. Can you imagine that Marcos wife have more than 2,700 pairs of luxury shoe collection. I wonder how on earth this person can be so greedy until letting their own people to suffer.

Manila was once ranked second in economic power in Asia after Japan during the World War 2, now slips to become among nation in poverty. During my stay there, the daily newspaper featured murder cases and bombing case on the first page. Scary though. In Makati itself, the security officer is located everywhere and each of them are equipped with shot gun. When going into shopping complex, each visitor will be checked against the metal detector and visual inspection on bag. Just because of some extremist/terrorist over here, means that everyone have to suffer the difficulties.


This bombing incident is just around 5km away. The bus exploded 4 killed while 14 injured. Some of my colleagues get phone call from their family on their concern on our safety.

Toll Issue @ Mahkota Cheras Town

The toll issue & barricade of Mahkota Cheras is on headlines nearly everyday. The heavy protest comes from the residents because they are forced to pay RM1.80 (both ways) toll. The toll route not only significantly further but it is also waste of time and petrol/fuel for the residents. This will contribute to global warming and wastage of natural resources. This shows that some people out there who is more concern of money making business rather than giving conveinence to the residents.


Have a look. The toll route is extra 6.7km! Anyone who see this will sure angry. Got free road but blocked.

Approved Permit Issue

"The price of car in Malaysia is 600% more expensive than its actual price!" That's mean that a brand new Proton Waja 1.6 only cost about RM66,000x100/600 = RM11,000. The price of Honda City is actually RM85,000 x 100/600 = RM14,166.

Thanks to our former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir for requesting the names of the approved permit (AP) holders to be published to the public. If he didn't mention about this, until now we also don't know the real problem.

According to a newspaper report, a famous branded imported car 1.0 litre from South Korea only cost about RM8,762 when it arrived to Port Klang. But, after the tax imposed to the car, the car value may only cost about RM22.868. The car then sold by the approved permit holder at RM46,000. Now we can see that the approved permit holder can so much money by just selling a car. A low level car from south korea can gain RM20,000 profit already. How about the higher level car like BMW and Mercedes? The profit is sure higher than RM20,000 per unit.

The concept that our government protect our automobil is a good move but it must be look from other aspect as well. How long is our citizen need to suffer in order to buy other cars than Proton or Produa. Nowadays, car is a necessity as the public transportation system especially in Klang Valley is very bad. I am a public transport user and I know how its feel when using public transport. Not only that the bus is full but it seldom follows its schedule. Sometimes I have to wait for an hour to wait for a bus to go to a particular place. How is our country is going to develop if we have to wait for 1 hour just to go to a place? Don't see that 1 hour is just a small amount of time. What happen if one day, nearly 10,000 people have to wait an hour for bus. That's mean we already loose 10,000 hours! That's amount of time if use properly, can hasten our developed country status.

Now, we back to our national car. In 1984, when our prime minister Dr. Mahathir talked about our own national car we feel very happy at that time. But after 21 years, Dr. Mhathir still talked about the protection to the national car. We feel cheated that although after AFTA (Asean Free Trade Area), our cars still sold at a high price. In Singapore and Thailand where they don't have their own national car, can enjoy lower car price after AFTA.
