Miri Trip

This is my first time to visit this oil city, Miri. Before I come here, I didn't expect much from this trip. I am just expecting it to be a city get away trip. The trip covers the place of interest, food & nature walk. It is really amaze to discover that such a small city has a very well mainteince public park and has quite a number of good food stalls. Most tourist will just stop by Miri airport to go to Gua Mulu (the largest cave in the world). From Miri, there is flight from MAS Wings to go to Mulu. Expect to see many expatriate here as there is two multinational oil company-Shell & Petronas residing in Miri.

Taste:9/10(Delicious.Their char siew pau is good).
Price:6/10(Moderate & reasonable).

Sarawak Kalo Noodles
Taste:9/10(Delicious. Although the noodles is plain but the flavour is natural)
Price:8/10(Cheap. Only RM2.50 per bowl).

The noodles does not look black.

Krokop market is the main attaction for citizen of Brunei. The price here is slightly more expensive.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. Good sarawak laksa here).
Price:6/10(Moderate & reasonable. Price at RM5 for big portion).

Price:Included in the admission fees to Borneo Rainforest.

Finally after 3 days here, its time to go home. Took the earliest flight at 6.20am as other flights on that day is full. 6.00am here is equivalent to 7am in Peninsular Malaysia.


Coming back to KL meal. I ordered fried noodles set.
