Victoria and Albert Museum @ London

Victoria and Albert Museum is the world's greatest museum of art and design. The museum was named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. The holdings of ceramics, glass, textiles, costumes, silver, ironwork, jewellery, furniture, medieval objects, sculpture, prints and printmaking, drawings and photographs are among the largest and most comprehensive in the world. Tapestry is an ancient technique of weaving. The pattern is woven in blocks of coloured weft thread which are then beaten down very tightly on the warp threads, producing a picture or pattern.
