Ivar's Acres of Clams @ Seattle, Washington

Ivar's was founded in 1938 by Seattle folk singer Ivar Haglund. Great location on pier. You can see the ferry boats come and go. Good and fast service. You can taste the fresh seafood. I ordered the chowder sampler, Riesling wine and Ivar's mixed grill trio.

Taste:9/10(Excellent. The fish and prawn were perfectly marinated and grilled).
Price:5/10(Near expensive. The 3 items that I ordered chowder sampler, Riesling wine and mixed grill trio cost around USD50.00).

Chowder sampler. There are 3 samples to try: NW seafood chowder, red clam chowder and white clam chowder. I like all except the red clam chowder which has sour and tomato taste.

Mixed grill trio comes with 3 seafood: marinated grilled white prawn, Alaska halibut, Wild Coho salmon. It comes with tomato fennel chutney, basil pesto & sour green onion mashed red potatoes.

Riesling wine.

The bread taste great as well.

Environment inside the restaurant.

Keep Clam. Ivar's famous tagline.

Earlier of the day I passed by this restaurant:

Ivar's fish bar is a take away section. Acres of Clams is restaurant serving proper meal.

Ivar's offered free clam chowder to feed the gulls?

Seagull.

My walking tour guide feeding the gull.

Many gulls waiting to be feed.
