Taste:9/10(Delicious. Fresh and tasty crab with natural taste of crab maintained via salt baked cooking method. Steam fish were great as the fish were fresh and mixed well with the ingredients. I don't recommend to order their 4 heavenly and sting ray in curry as the taste is rather blend).
Price:6/10(Moderate. The salt baked crab priced at MYR80.00 per kg and red snapper fish at MYR65.00 per kg. The stir fry sweet potato leaves at MYR8.00, 4 heavenly kings vegetable at MYR15.00, salted egg fried mantis prawn at MYR25 and sting ray cooked in curry powder at MYR30. For a satisfying portion, each person would need to spend MYR40 to MYR55).
Ordered a salt baked crab in medium size portion but turn out the crab is quite big for two persons. The weight was 700g. From the look of the crab when served, it looks plain and tasteless. The crab shape remained so perfect after cooked without any trace of ingredient and cracks. But as we eat, the crab meat were fresh and the saltiness of the shell mixed well with the crab meat. By salt baked, the nature taste of crab is still maintained and we are able to taste the real crab flavour.
Look at the colour and the meat from the crab claw. The freshness is proven by the ease of crab meat removal from the shell with the meat still intact.
Our second dish is steamed red snapper fish. The fish were fresh and taste good as well. The fish topped with spring onions, fried onions and lots of ginger.
Third dish were stir fry sweet potato leaves.
Fourth dish were salted egg fried mantis prawn.
Fifth dish were sting ray cooked in curry powder.
Last dish of 4 heavenly kings vegetable. Consist of stinky beans, lady fingers, egg plant and long beans.
Do recognize this signboard as the restaurant is hard to find for first timer as it is hidden behind Fpur Star seafood restaurant.
