Peng Yuan Hokkien mee stall located on the same shop row of another famous hokkien mee noodles stall in Petaling Jaya. Since I have tried Hokkien mee from Ahwa before, I decided to try out their competitor as well. Usually when there is a popular shop around, then there will have many shops selling the same items opening up around hoping for business flow from the popular shop. The Hokkien mee stall located in Restaurant Mei Keng in Jalan 222 also have other stalls selling items such as popiah, fried chicken and rojak. While waiting for your hokkien mee, you can try those food as well. I don't have chance to try them as they were closed when I was there. Probably its too late at night.
Taste:8/10(Good. The hokkien mee contains sufficient amount of seafood such as squid and prawn. I also have pork slice, pork lard and cabbage which makes the noodles wet and delicious).
Price:8/10(Cheap. The hokkien noodles here priced at MYR7.00 which is MYR1.00 cheaper than Ahwa).
Black fried hokkien noodles with lots of lard. The sambal comes with the noodles were good as well.
Hokkien mee with cabbage, lard and seafood clearly seen.
