Pakistani cuisine of Sheesh Mahal @ Subang Jaya

Sheesh Mahal served traditional cooking of Pakistani food. Their menu is extensive with appetizer, beef, chicken, seafood, lamb, vegetables, rice and dessert. Located at SS15 of Subang Jaya, they not only compete with another well known Indian restaurant but also with many Japanese restaurant within the same row of shops.

Taste:8/10(Good. The meal served was good and but not the best Indian/Pakistani meal that I had. The lamb and the dessert is a must try item if you come to this restaurant).
Price:6/10(Moderate. The meal shown below cost MYR66.00. Lamb Rogan Josh at MYR16.90, Palak paneer at MYR15.50, Gajar halwa at MYR6.90, briyani rice at MYR7.50, garlic naan at MYR4.90 & mango lassi at MYR6.00).

My dinner table.

Good briyani rice. Plain Basmati rice cooked with saffron and touch of spices and herbs.

Lamb Rogan Josh. Lamb curry. Lamb cubes cooked in yogurt based curry with a touch of coriander seeds.

Palak Paneer. Fresh spinach and cottage cheese sauteed with mild spices. This is their Sheesh Mahal speciality dish. Only order this dish if you like cheese as the taste of cheese is overwhelming.

Garlic naan. Bread topped with chopped garlic and coriander leaves.

Mango lassi.

Gajar halwa. Shredded carrots, cooked in milk along with assorted nuts.

Good papadam.

Sheesh Mahal. Fine Pakistani cuisine.
