Mongolian steamboat from Xiao Fei Yang (XFY) Steamboat restaurant @ Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya

Xiao Fei Yang is a chain restaurant serving spicy ma la style of steamboat. Their soup is delicious and flavourful. They have many ingredients to choose to put into the soup eg sliced mutton, special pork balls, fried fish skin and dumplings. I do enjoy the sauces area where you can mix different kind of sauces and ingredients to eat it with your food. Other than the hidden charges, this place has good food to savour.

Taste:8/10(Good. No doubt that their soup is the main attraction. Do go for combination soup of ma la and herbal soup. In the ma la soup you can eat much of the ingredients and spices there. Good to increase body heat. Make sure to order their fried fish skin and special pork balls).
Price:5/10(Near expensive. Even though their soup is great, they charge MYR24.00 for it. Make sure you drink the soup a lot and finish the ingredient inside there. Also, you may noticed that their bowls, spoons, chopsticks are sealed in a wrapper for hygiene purposes. They charge those wrapper for MYR1.00 each. For me, it's weird that they charge it that way. The tea they charge by the number of person even though we ordered 1 pot. Prices for all the ordered items as below: slices mutton at MYR21.00, sliced pork at MYR14.00, home made pork ball at MYR9.00, fish noodles at MYR8.00, dumplings at MYR8.00 and vegetables at MYR6.00 for each plate).

Good Arabic cuisine at Dima Restaurant @ Ara Damansara

Dima Restaurant previously located in Oasis Ara Damansara has now moved to a new location in Taipan 2 of Ara Damansara. What surprise me is they have Arabic rice dinner set at a reasonable price.

Taste:8/10(Good. Tender lamb and rice taste good. However the sauce which comes with this set was too spicy for me. It taste like salsa sauce but its too spicy. Overall I do recommend to have dinner here).
Price:7/10(Moderate. The lunch/dinner set of mutton rice at MYR13.99 exclude GST. It comes with huge mandi rice, lamb, Arabic gravy, spicy sauce and hot pull tea. Portion wise were big and can easily satisfy any big eater).

Sichuan dinner at Ba Guo Bu Yi Restaurant @ Shanghai, China

Ba Guo Bu Yi is a famous restaurant chain in China serving good sichuan style (ma la) or spicy cooking. What's great about this restaurant is that they also have great face changing performances. The face changing show starts at 8pm every evening, the performance is short but entertaining. The energetic performer leaps and bounds in dramatic fashion, his face flashing through a range of colors and expressions in seconds. He even departs the stage and walk around the crowd and pose for pictures after the show. There are twenty Ba Guo Bu Yi outlets across China including Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Sanya and Nanjing. There are also three stores in Chengdu itself, including the flagship store where seats are particularly hard to come by, but booking at any and all is definitely recommended, especially if you want to catch the show.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. The meal is excellent with a type of spiciness that I never taste before. The pepper used is different compared to the pepper that I normally take. The sichuan fish in dried and pepper is a must try with melt in your mouth chili oil. Really good).

This slices of pork with cucumber taste great with the spicy sauce which comes with it. Finely sliced pork belly hanging over small wooden trestles, ready to be wrapped around slices of cucumber and spring onion.

Good presentation and taste great.

Very nice packaging of chopstick and tissue paper.

Dried chili and dried pepper fish. This dish is superb and tasty. However beware. Its super spicy.

Tetra House of Briyani @ Klang

Tetra House of Briyani has been in business for quite long in Klang and I get to know it from the listing in The Star newspaper. I have been to this restaurant for quite some time but don't have the chance to write about it. What's unique inside the shop is they have Chinese paintings hung on walls and Indian culture carvings.

Taste:8/10(Good. I ordered their rendang chicken briyani set and the taste is good. The meal is decent and the restaurant can get crowded during lunch time and dinner. All foods are served using metal bowl and plate. They also have good fruit lassi as well).
