Sakura season at Ueno Park @ Tokyo, Japan

Ueno Park is one of the best spot to view the cherry blossom or sakura in Tokyo. But on my date of arrival to Tokyo, its almost at the end of sakura season in Ueno Park. This is my first stop for the sakura as I heard the cherry blossom in Ueno Park ending soon. The cherry blossom does not last long in Ueno Park due to rainy and strong wind season during the first week of April 2014. Enjoy the photos of the sakura view below.

Although almost end of season but visitors still abundance.

Cherry blossom this is what makes spring in Japan special. This cherry blossom is from Yaezakura species. Each blossom is rather big as it has layers of petals and it looks gorgeous.

This part, all the flowers almost gone.

Japanese like to have picnic during sakura season. This is sometimes called "Hanami party".
