Korean fried chicken @ Outdark, Subang Jaya

Finally able to try the famous Korean fried chicken from Outdark in Subang. The fried chicken is indeed tasty and delicious with the 4 taste sauce. We also ordered seafood jijim, kimchi fried rice and makgeolli Korean rice wine. The wine taste better when mixed with milkis. Been passing by to this place quite often but not manage to try as the set is quite large.

Taste:8/10(Good. Their fried chicken were tasty and is the highlight of the dinner. Kimchi fried rice were average and seafood jijim were good).
Price:4/10(Near expensive. The price of dishes here are pricey. Fried chicken at MYR45, makgeoli at MYR35, kimchi fried rice at MYR16, seafood jijim at MYR28 and milkis at MYR7.00. I haven't tried the Korean style fried chicken at other restaurant yet. So can't compare whether the higher price here worth it).

Raj's Banana Leaf @ SS15, Subang Jaya

Raj's banana leaf restaurant located in SS15 Subang Jaya is my favourite choice if I am very hungry and would like to be vegetarian for a day. You can have as much rice and vegetables as you want for a banana leaf meal. If you are big eater, I would recommend to add on their meat dishes such as fried fish, squid and curry chicken. Their fried fish and squid are fried fresh when you order. Pleasantly surprised at the very decent quality and cleanliness of the restaurant. This restaurant is quite accessible via public transport as its just located beside the newly completed SS15 LRT station.

Taste:8/10(Good. I like their fried bitter gourd and curries. It goes very well with rice and taste great).
Price:7/10(Moderate. Banana leaf rice at MYR7.50. You will have 4 types of vegetables, rasam, assam, 2 pieces of papadum, dried chili and choice of curries).


Complete banana leaf rice. Request more rice or vegetables if you really hungry :-). My standard order will be the banana leaf rice with hot lime juice.

Their other meat dishes are good as well.
