Fuze Club Kuala Lumpur

Fuze Club Kuala Lumpur located at Jalan Kia Peng is just 5 minutes walk from Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. The crowd here are mostly young and their music are more to techno. Entrance price at MYR45.00 cover charge unless you purchase liquor bottle from their list of packages.

Review:6/10(Moderate. The club only have one main stage room with sizeable dance floor. The sound system and lightning is a bit lacking. Indeed during my visit, their sound system broke down twice! And have a moment of silence for 5-10 minutes each time while they sort out the technical issue. Somehow is a bit embarrassing to have this kind of issue. The DJs are boring at times with jumble up music tempo. Maybe its due to DJs effect. The DJs of the night was Naro and Chriz Ooi. Its kinda hard to follow and to expect the flow. Ventilation here is good as you don't feel strong smoky smell after the visit. Parking is available just outside the club).

Saturday night party @ Zouk Club Kuala Lumpur

Zouk KL superclub is the largest nightclub in Malaysia comprises 11 rooms – Zouk Cafe Bar, Beer Garden, Zouk Main Room, Members' Lounge, Velvet Underground, Phuture, Ace, Imperial, Apex Lounge, Glass Box, and Balcony Deck which overlooks the Royal Selangor Golf Club. This is the only nightclub in KL which allows to operate until 5.00am. The cover charge to this club is among the cheapest when compared to others. If you enter before 12.00am, the cover charge will be minimum MYR25 for normal entrance and MYR30 for premium entrance include one drink. Do check out on their website if you want to know more details on the pricing structure. Visited this night club on a Saturday night with premium access which allow access to almost all the rooms. By 1.00am the club was very crowded and smokey. I was there to checkout the feel and to enjoy the loud music with high tech lightning systems.

Review:7/10(Moderate. Although the club is huge but only 3 rooms that has the crowd with party feel. Personally, I prefer the mainroom, Velvet and Phuture. Others are mostly for private events or for more tame environment for discussions. Music wise, Velvet has open format tunes and the rhythm/tempo does make more sense. Phuture is slightly dark and the music appeal more to those who like techno type of music. The crowd in Velvet are mostly younger as well. Main room music is cater for dancing and has the best lightning effect in the club. For group which secure a table, their space is not really private. People can still walking around through and dancing around the table which is not belongs to them. The dance stage is quite small. Do expect to have a deaf feel when you out from the club as the music is very loud).

Cheap used books, digital audio and digital video in Book Off @ Tokyo, Japan

Books, magazines, CDs and DVDs are expensive nowadays and it gets even more expensive in Tokyo. So the only option to go is to have it used or second hand. There are one popular chain in Tokyo/Japan which you can get books, manga, CDs, DVDs or even electronics item at low price. What I meant is Book Off store. Books in Book Off ranges from 108 Yen to less than 1000 Yen. The most amazing characteristic of Book Off is the books and medias are clean and new. If you are lucky, you can even get new unused item here. For example I bought a stack of CDs recently and I noticed that some of it is sealed. You don't have to worry even if you can read in Japanese as they have Western books section where all the foreign books are collected. Going to Book-Off is really a bargain hunting as one have to patiently look at all the stocks that they have and to look thru at each title. You are lucky and the feeling of finding a treasure if you happen to find something that you like. Other items in Book-Off ranges from clothing, musical instrument, console game, Sony playstation, iPhone, iPad, tablets and watches. You can find these items at a larger Book-Off establishment.

Huge selection of CDs, digital audio, DVDs and blu-ray.

Each item is sorted by price. If you have a particular budget in mind, just go to that particular section to find your treasure.

Some of newer artist album is not that cheap but reasonable priced.

One big stack of George Michael album with 4 CDs at 500 Yen. Such a great bargain for George Michael fans.

I looking for 1990s and 2000s song album. Its only 280 Yen per album.

Adult section. Only above 18 years old allowed.

Adult section of DVDs.

Japan is quite liberal in allowing sale of adult media.

Even hentai or pornographic manga is affordable in Book Off.

In Book Off, hentai is only selling at less than half price compared to the full price in convenience stores.

This box of second hand Wii console game was only around 3,000 Yen.

Sony PS Vita at around 16,000 Yen.

If you are fan of Nintendo game console, Book Off also have that in second hand.

Play Station 3 at 25,000 Yen. New Play Station 3 could reach price of 40,000 Yen. Look, its still quite new.

Some of the popular music albums that I brought recently from Book Off. Here I have Celine Dion, Bon Jovi, Take That and Maroon 5.

Larger establishment of Book Off which is known as Book Off Plus have more high end and luxury items on sale. In this picture, its a terms and conditions for selling and buying handbags.

Make sure you remember to visit any Book Off store when you visit Japan. In this picture, this is a large store of Book Off Plus located in near by Kanamecho station in Tokyo. This location is nearby Ikebukuro.

Lightning magazine. Stylish guy magazine which focus on Amekaji fashion. You can get discounted Lightning Magazine from Book Off. Original new price at around 800 Yen but in Book Off you can get from around 200 Yen to 500 Yen depending on the content and focus product.

Address: Located near major stations around major cities in Japan. Their signage is very easy to spot and unique.
Public transport: Usually there is one Book Off store near train station in Tokyo.

Adult magazines in Japan convenience stores

One of the reason on why the Japanese stores were so interesting is the availability of porn magazines and hentai on the magazine section of the stores (7-Eleven, Lawson & Family Mart). The public display of these magazine will just blow you away. You might think that such material should be hidden or sell at separate adult stores but in Japan, such material are sold openly.

Crazy selection of porn magazine. Pornography is not illegal in Japan. Only child pornography is illegal. These magazine is not just the magazine but it comes with DVD showing the full action!

The porn magazine just beside the normal magazine section. This part is available at almost all convenience stores in Japan. How amazing is that. Recently, Japan have a regulation of sealing the porn magazine which was not done before this.
