Jyu Raku Japanese Restaurant @ Subang Jaya, Selangor

Jyu Raku located at SS15 together with many Japanese restaurants within the same shop row. Quality of food is good and there are many selection from the extensive menu. The meal is comparable to Rakuzen which is just located beside the restaurant. Of course visiting Japanese restaurant is to try their sashimi or sashimi sushi. From there you will be able to tell whether they serve fresh food or otherwise. I do agree that their sashimi is good.

Taste:8/10(Good. Overall meal were satisfying).
Price:5/10(Near expensive. The meal shown below is MYR92.80. There were two sets and each set comes with premium sushi set).


Welcomed by delicious potato salad.

Soba noodles set. Comes with salad, fatty tuna sushi, fruits and cucumber sushi.

Udon noodles set. Comes with salad, fruits, chawan mushi and sushi set which includes salmon, squid, mackerel, scallop & tuna.

The soba noodles is quite delicious.

The sushi set accompany the noodles were good and fresh. I got the extra sushi here as I complaint that the set display on the picture does not match the sushi types delivered.

Restoran 3A Yong Tau Foo & Cheong Fun @ Petaling Jaya

This restaurant were introduced to me by my Malay colleagues who like to savour yong tau foo. Its hard for them taste good pork free yong tau foo but this restaurant really did a good job of serving tasty pork free yong tau foo.

Taste:8/10(Good. They are among the good yong tau foo around. Their barley with gingko nut soup is great. Chee cheong fun with shallot flakes combined with their sauce is good).
Price:7/10(Moderate. Yong tau foo per piece at MYR1.20).


Love this. Long bean, brinjals and bitter gourd yong tau foo.

Even though this is pork free restaurant, the food served were good.

Fried yong tau foo is great. They even have the fried yau char kwai as well.

Chee cheong fun with fragrant shallot flakes.

Yummy chee cheong fun in sweet sauce gravy. You can opt with curry as well.

Vanson Model B Cafe Racer Leather Jacket

Vanson is a leather jacket manufacturing company located in Fall River, Massachusetts, USA. Vanson produces high performance leather jacket with competition weight quality. Its good for motorcycle rider and may not be suitable for casual wear as the jacket is heavy and thick. The Vanson Model B jacket requires much time and patience to breakin. Bongkar Vintage @ Cheras, Kuala Lumpur

Recently I learnt about vintage shop or thrift shop from an article on the Internet. From there I begin my research about it and found out that there are several good thrift shop also known as bundle shop or second hand shop around Kuala Lumpur area. Usually this kind of shops specializing in shirts, shoes, jeans, jackets, bags and watches. These vintage shops usually stock many branded vintage items which are usually sold at budget price if you compared to buying new item. But sometimes, the price shown is still expensive considering the items is used. So, its up to you to use your bargain skills to get the best price. Most of the items are negotiable. In Klang Valley, there are many thrift or bundle shops available but Bongkar Vintage are a few one which offer quality and branded used items which still in very good condition. The usual brand are Ralph Lauren, Gap, Banana Republic, Calvin Klein, Levis, Schott, Uniqlo, Jcrew, Red Wings, Nudie Jeans and Diesel. If you are lucky, you may even find new item in their shop. Happy shopping and treasure hunting!


Many used A1 flight bomber leather jacket in Bongkar Vintage. They also have many vintage Schott Perfecto leather jacket as well.

Good condition used jeans, denim jacket and shirts.

You can get good condition of jeans and shirt if you spent sometime looking for treasure in this vintage shop.

Many denim jacket are in good condition and its up to you to get a well bargain piece.

The best thing about vintage shop is each piece of clothing is unique and you never find same pattern twice. Some of the shirt/jeans are customized by previous owner.

Horse Guards Parade @ London

Horse Guards Parade, is a large parade ground off Whitehall in central London. As well as being the venue for changing The Queen's Life Guard it is also the location for Trooping the Colour, which commemorates the Queen's Birthday, and Beating Retreat.

Signature ginger fish at Hou Moon Restaurant @ Klang, Selangor

This restaurant has been operating for more than 20 years. It started as a roast duck rice shop and now transformed into restaurant which specialized in seafood. The main signature dish here is their Bentong ginger steamed fish which is great. My friend also told me that their fried vegetables with brinjal, roast pork and roast duck is good as well.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. Their signature Bentong ginger infused steamed fish is great. Recommended to those who like steamed fish).
Price:5/10(Moderate. The price of their Bentong ginger infused steamed fish was rather reasonable. First visit were charged around MYR20. Almost the same price on the second visit. The roasted pork at MYR15.00 and spinach soup at MYR12.00).

Just reaching London and checked in hostel at around 7.00pm, I don't have much itinerary plan during the day. So I plan to have a walk around Westminster to capture the glimpse around the area at night. During the day it would be different scene as there will be many tourists around.
