Shanghainese dinner @ Ying Pot restaurant, Shanghai, China

This restaurant was recommended by the hostel staff at the place that I stayed. Usually I will try the local food when I arrived at a new place. In my opinion the food in Shanghai is not much different compared to chinese food in Malaysia. The only exception is the taste in Shanghai is more strong and saltier. Most of the cooking here will use soy sauce to braise meat especially pork and dried chili for spicy "ma lat" type of cooking. The decoration inside the restaurant were nice and with air-conditioned. The location of this restaurant is very convenient as its near to Nanjing Road shopping street.

Taste:8/10(Good. The good here overall is good just that a bit salty. Their braised beef stomach taste great with good texture and I like this the most. The pork tail were good as well but the portion is too big for a single person to finish it. The sweet potato dessert were just nice).
Price:6/10(Moderate. Pork tail soy bean at 56 Yuan, braised beef stomach at 32 Yuan, sweet potato dessert at 16 Yuan. Total bill were 104 Yuan).
