Naughty Nuri's porky experience @ Courtyard SS15, Subang Jaya

I went to this restaurant with friends for dinner on friday night. As expected, the restaurant was full house and have to wait for around 20 minutes. The place were nicely decorated and dancing waitresses who performed for birthday. We ordered their porky fried rice, their signature grilled pork ribs, BBQ satay lilit, BBQ pork loin, beer and cocktail of the day. Service can be improved as the serving were rather slow as the restaurant were full on that day. Do take note that the environment in this restaurant is noisy with loud music and dancing once in awhile for birthday celebration.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. The ribs tasted good and well marinated. Fried rice with roasted pork is mouth watering and flavourful. BBQ satay lilit were fragrant and tender. Cocktail mixture of Budweiser is moderate as I think the taste a bit like medicine. Chocolate with bacon is just so-so however the presentation is good).
Price:4/10(Near expensive. Signature BBQ spare ribs at MYR45, BBQ pork loin at MYR25, Indonesian fried rice with roasted pork at MYR24, sizzling bacon chocolate cake at MYR23 and kiss my bud cocktail at MYR45).

Naughty Nuri's bar.

Dancing and performances from the waitress.

Being waitress in this restaurant is very busy. Besides serving the customers with meals, they have to dance and sing every now and then.

BBQ signature pork ribs.

Delicious and fragrant BBQ satay lilit with lemongrass stick.

Dancing session again.

The bartender was preparing kiss my bud cocktail.

Kiss my bud.

Indonesian fried rice with roasted pork. Sinfully delicious.

I don't enjoy the cocktail that much as I feel it taste like medicine. However, my friend like it.

Environment inside the restaurant.

BBQ pork loin. Flavourful and tender but salty.

Sizzling bacon chocolate cake. We don't feel the taste of bacon.

Celebrate friend's birthday.

Little piglet figure for birthday person.

Pigs everywhere in the restaurant...

Varieties of Food carts @ Portland, Oregon

Portland’s food-cart scene is legendary. Its cheap and good. The flavorful proliferation has drawn raves from Bon Appétit magazine and CNN (which declared Portland home to the world’s best street food).

Unlike other cities’ mobile food trucks, most Portland carts stay put in groups dubbed “pods,” making it a snap to sample several at a time. You’ll also find smaller groups and individual carts scattered around the city. Food carts provide excellent value (typically priced below $10) and an amazing variety of foods. Prepare to wait several minutes as most food is prepared fresh.

Budget stay at Fukusen Hotel @ Tokyo, Japan

This is a family run hotel which you may find some personal touch in a way that you live with a Japanese family. The location is good as its just beside Minami-Senju station. I am fortunate to get an accommodation during the peak time of sakura season as most of the hostel and hotel are fully book and its quite tough to get good single room. Most of the left over room are capsule type which I find it inconvenience. Nearby there are many convenience stores and eating places. You should be able to find a shop open if you are hungry at night. The room, bathroom & toilet are very clean. They even have private onsen bath but it have timing on it. Do check it out. Every aspect of which is needed is well thought of. Even though Minami Senju is far from Tokyo city centre but you may opt to take Chuo line to Shinjuku. Its only 25 minutes from Minami Senju station with a change in Akihabara station which is more interesting than taking the metro line which has many stops and will require at least 45 minutes of travelling time.

However, there is always smoke smell on the lobby of the hotel. Curfew at 23.30 and not suitable for those who like to stay out late at night. Please make sure that you back to the hotel by 23.30. They will only reopen at 8.00 in the morning. There is train sound passing by as the distance is very close to the train station. However the sound shouldn't be a problem from 24.00 until 6.00 as there is no train services during that time.

Rating:9/10(Recommended for everyone either solo traveller, budget traveller, partner or family. The location, service and wifi is great. The place is quiet and you can rest well at night after whole day of travelling in Tokyo. Other that what I highlighted above, other thing not a problem).
Price:Around 3150 Yen or MYR100 for a single room per night. Good for budget traveller who wants privacy and convenience.

Finally arrived at Fukusen hotel.

My single room.

You need to keep your shoes in the locker each time you are back to this hotel. You need to wear their slipper in the hotel.

Tappers Cafe @ Oasis, Ara Damansara

Tappers cafe located in new commercial area of Oasis of Ara Damansara, offer extensive menu of Colonial, western, local and Hainanese food. They also offer value for money set lunches from MYR10.90 to MYR14.50 with drinks. With great ambience and many menu to choose from, it is a good place to have lunch for those working nearby Ara Damansara.

Taste:6/10(Moderate. The taste of the menu that they serves is average. Their Hainanese chicken chop does not impress me as the sauce and the potatoes does not taste great. The spaghetti don't have much ingredient and basically the spaghetti meal is not that value for money unless you are a small eater. As of the fish burger, the patty is fried with chips which taste average as well).
Price:7/10(Moderate. Set lunch start at MYR10.90 to MYR13.90. Hainanese chicken chop at MYR13.90, spaghetti olio at MYR14.50, Panini fish burger at MYR12.90 and chicken parmigiana at MYR13.90).

Hainanese chicken chop. Served with potato and peas.

Chicken parmigiana. Mozzarella and parmesan cheese melt over breaded chicken in spaghetti tomato sauce served with chips and coleslaw.

Panini fish burger. Deep fried fish fillet with tartare sauce, cucumber, tomato on Panini toast served with chips.

Spaghetti olio. Spaghetti olive oil with mixed herbs with oysters and mushroom. The taste of this meal is just average and seems expensive when compared with others.

Cosy air-conditioned environment inside Tappers cafe.

Tang Gourmet @ Paris, France

This friendly restaurant is located just steps from Place d'Italie metro station and on the edge of Chinatown. There is a range of a dozen-plus dishes available in many sizes either you want those dishes with noodles or rice. In Asian, those dishes with rice is known as mixed rice. Tang Gourmet also have huge variety of dumplings, samosas and other tid-bits. Roast ducks, chickens and pork hang on an adjacent counter and are chopped and sliced to order.

Taste:7/10(Moderate. Their board noodles with beef taste is moderate and without the pan taste. The chinese menu here are catered for Western taste bud and some of the items which is tasty if you eat in Asia but its blend here. Overall this place is still good to go if you are craving for Asian food if you are in Paris. Their spring roll is good. And I believe their duck and roasted pork is good as well as many customers choosing that. I won't choose duck or pork as that meal is quite normal for me and I wanted to try something different).
Price:6/10(Moderate. I believe this is among the cheapest eating place around Place d'Italie. For around 6 Euro, you can get quite a decent lunch here).

I ordered fried broad noodles with beef. And I have spring roll as appetizer.

Vietnamese style spring roll with vegetables(rice vermicelli, bean sprout & salad) and prawn.

Spring roll taste is quite good.

Chili sauce.

Looks like here is famous for Peking duck and roasted pork.

Tang Gourmet menu is extensive and they have many customers too.

If you are looking for Chinese food while in Paris, do visit Tang Gourmet.

Asian Kitchen @ Amsterdam

This is a Chinese restaurant serving many kinds of Asian Food. The advantage here is that the service is fast and its among the cheapest you can find in Dam Square area. This is a place for you to have a quick meal and not for dining experience. Most of the meal prepared are fried stuff such as fried rice, Singapore noodles, duck rice and chicken satay. I come to this restaurant as many restaurant closed on that day due to Queen's day celebration in Dam Square.

Taste:7/10(Moderate. Since I am coming from a country which has good Asian food, I would rank this restaurant food as moderate. The Singapore noodles that I ordered has more items in there but the fried taste still can be improved).
Price:6/10(Moderate. Noodles Singapore at EUR8.00 and apple juice at EUR2.00).
