Porky steamed rice at Sin Kee restaurant @ Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur

Sin Kee restaurant is a very crowded restaurant especially during lunch and dinner time. People come here to try their signature pork steamed rice also known as mun fan. Its a gravy laden rice with stewed pork. The serving amount is generous with big bowl of rice mixed with vegetables, stewed pork, chinese sausage, prawn and egg. Almost each tables ordered a portion of the signature steamed rice.

Taste:7/10(Moderate. The mun fan rice portion is huge with abundant of stewed pork slices. The rice however is slightly too salty for my liking and stewed pork slices lacked of aroma. Fried rice were good with plenty of ingredients plus lap cheong).
Price:8/10(Cheap. The portion here is huge. Each serving here is covered with big bowl. The mun fan and fried rice has adequate ingredients inside. Mun fan and fried rice priced at MYR9.50 each).

Naughty Nuri's porky experience @ Courtyard SS15, Subang Jaya

I went to this restaurant with friends for dinner on friday night. As expected, the restaurant was full house and have to wait for around 20 minutes. The place were nicely decorated and dancing waitresses who performed for birthday. We ordered their porky fried rice, their signature grilled pork ribs, BBQ satay lilit, BBQ pork loin, beer and cocktail of the day. Service can be improved as the serving were rather slow as the restaurant were full on that day. Do take note that the environment in this restaurant is noisy with loud music and dancing once in awhile for birthday celebration.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. The ribs tasted good and well marinated. Fried rice with roasted pork is mouth watering and flavourful. BBQ satay lilit were fragrant and tender. Cocktail mixture of Budweiser is moderate as I think the taste a bit like medicine. Chocolate with bacon is just so-so however the presentation is good).
Price:4/10(Near expensive. Signature BBQ spare ribs at MYR45, BBQ pork loin at MYR25, Indonesian fried rice with roasted pork at MYR24, sizzling bacon chocolate cake at MYR23 and kiss my bud cocktail at MYR45).

Fried Rice at Jombali @ Tesco Food Court, Ara Damansara

Jombali is a Malaysian family style halal restaurant chain that serves delicious Malaysian food and beverages. They usually open their outlet inside hypermarket food court where you can enjoy air-conditioned comfortable seating. Their set meal is good with good value for money and service is fast.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. Their fried rice with savoury fried chicken is delicious. The fried rice has the fried pan flavour with makes the fried rice good. The chicken is good as it marinated with spices. However this meal may not be suitable for those who can't eat spicy food. For non-spicy, I would suggest to take their nasi goreng kerabu-vegetables fried rice or nasi goreng cina-chinese fried rice).
Price:7/10(Moderate. They have set of fried rice with barley drink at MYR8.90).

I get to know this mamak restaurant from a friend of mine. First time I been to this restaurant, I immediately know that they not serving the usual normal mamak food. What they served here are fusion mamak food. Something mamak but with a twist. They serve something like Napoleon fried rice (nasi goreng Napolean), chicken chop fried rice, Northern noodles (mee utara) & bacon fried rice(nasi goreng bacon). Even their drinks & roti also having same variety.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. The food here taste very good. I like their mee utara & mee raja. The noodles taste very good. Their mee utara(not shown in photo) is even better than the Chinese loh mee. With squid and seafood, the gravy is good. Their mee raja & fried rice is also good. Make sure you able to withstand the spiciness before you order their noodles or fried rice here).
