The view of Petronas twin towers was spectacular on this bar and the music selection was great. Servers are attentive and prompt, the ambiance were great with good mix of visitors, tourists and business.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. Ordered their the new dawn cocktail which is mixture of rum and orange juice. Taste is good and refreshing).
Price:5/10(Near expensive. Do come here earlier from 5.00pm to 9.00pm to enjoy their sunset hour rate. Beer priced at MYR15.00 to MYR30.00 and cocktail at MYR33.00 to MYR36.00 during this hours. Although the selection of drinks during this hours are quite limited but if the view is what you looking for then this is the time to enjoy the discounted rate).


Marini's On 57 has the closest view of Petronas Towers. Located at tower 3 of Petronas Tower, this is the closest you can get to view the Petronas Twin Towers.

Lujiazui @ Shanghai, China

Lujiazui is a new financial district of Shanghai. it is located on the east side of the Huangpu River in Pudong, and sits directly across the river from the old financial and business district of the Bund.

The bridge provides access to the Oriental Pearl Tower connecting financial area to leisure areas such as shopping malls and cafes, Lujiazui metro station and office buildings. The bridge sits almost 20 feet above the street, with numerous escalator stairway entrances and exits. The pedestrian bridge overpass enables pedestrians to avoid traffic at the roundabout of Lujiazui Road.

Smith Tower @ Seattle

Smith Tower is the oldest skyscraper in Seattle and it was completed in 1914. The skyscraper is unique as they still need elevator operator. The elevators have brass surfaces which look as if its made of gold. The doors are latticed, so a rider can see into each hallway and through the glass walls in front of each office on each floor. The highest floor (35th floor) of the building is the only private residence in the building. The observation deck on the 35th floor also house the Chinese Room. The furniture and the hand-carved ceiling in the room were gifts from the Empress of China. Smith Tower is certainly better than Space Needle in term of Seattle city view as the building is located in the city centre itself on Pioneer Square. The price to enter the observation deck is cheaper too at USD7.50 per person as compared to USD12.00 for Space Needle. Another good thing is that you don't even need to queue to get to the observation deck. Another interesting procedure here is you only pay the observation deck entrance fee when reaching the 35th floor of the building. Not like other skyscraper which collect the fee at ground floor.

John Hancock Observatory / 360 Chicago @ Chicago

Do take note that John Hancock Observatory is now known as 360 Chicago. When visiting great city observatory, I tend to choose the second tallest building. One of the reason is that I am able to see the tallest building which is usually the landmark of the city. In Chicago, you can see Willis Tower(formerly Sears Tower) clearly from John Hancock Observatory. Another reason is John Hancock, provides better view of Chicago. You can see the Lake Michigan and coastal side of Chicago.

The John Hancock Center in the Streeterville area of Chicago, Illinois, is a 100-story, 344 metres tall skyscraper. The building is home to offices and restaurants, as well as about 700 condominiums and contains the third highest residence (above adjacent ground level) in the world, after the Trump Tower (also in Chicago), and the Burj Khalifa (in Dubai). John Hancock Observatory allows a 360° view of the city, up to four states and over 80 miles. The Observatory has Chicago's only open-air SkyWalk and also features a free multimedia tour in six languages.
