Dinner at Thirty8 @ Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur

Came here for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. He wanted to try out the THIRTY8 signature cake. At first, I was a bit skeptical on the selection of the cake. However, after tried on it, the cake was indeed very good. The chocolate used is of high quality just like the type used to make Godiva and Royce chocolate. Smooth and rich.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. We ordered beef burger, sushi platter and the signature dessert. All the food were good but special mention to the dessert. Sushi platter were fresh with 11 pieces of premium sushi including toro, horse mackerel, flounder and sea urchin. However, the sea urchin is a bitter type which is not from Japan).
Price:3/10(Expensive. This is a fine dining restaurant with great view of Petronas Twin Towers. Price is expensive here with sushi platter at MYR165, signature cake at MYR60.00 and burger at MYR55.00).

The view of Petronas twin towers was spectacular on this bar and the music selection was great. Servers are attentive and prompt, the ambiance were great with good mix of visitors, tourists and business.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. Ordered their the new dawn cocktail which is mixture of rum and orange juice. Taste is good and refreshing).
Price:5/10(Near expensive. Do come here earlier from 5.00pm to 9.00pm to enjoy their sunset hour rate. Beer priced at MYR15.00 to MYR30.00 and cocktail at MYR33.00 to MYR36.00 during this hours. Although the selection of drinks during this hours are quite limited but if the view is what you looking for then this is the time to enjoy the discounted rate).


Marini's On 57 has the closest view of Petronas Towers. Located at tower 3 of Petronas Tower, this is the closest you can get to view the Petronas Twin Towers.

New York skyline from New Jersey

Manhattan beautiful skyline can be viewed from New Jersey. This is one of the reason I stay in New Jersey when I visited New York. Besides that, rental in New Jersey is cheaper when compared to in Manhattan. There is frequent buses running between Manhattan (Port Authority Bus Terminal - PABT) and New Jersey. Each way cost around USD3.10. If you purchased 10 tickets, its around USD2.90 each way.

Amazing Sydney view from Pylon Lookout @ Sydney Harbour Bridge

The Pylon Lookout is located on the pedestrian path on Sydney Harbour Bridge. In order to access the Pylon lookout, you need to climb the Bridge stairs on Cumberland Street. You need to climb 200 steps stairs in order to reach Pylon lookout which is 87 metres above the sea level. Once you reached at the top, you will be rewarded with spectacular view of Sydney. On the way up, there are three levels of exhibits that reveal interesting facts about the history of the bridge and the men who built it and the vision of its chief engineer, John Bradfield. No wonder this attraction is less popular compared to Sydney Tower. Pylon lookout don't have lift to get up there.

Cyren Bar Grill Seafood with waterfront view of Darling Harbour @ Sydney, Australia

Cyren offers great views of Sydney CBD as it is at the edge of Darling Harbour. The location is also great for relaxing meal and drinks. They have many fresh seafood, meats and cocktails option.

Taste:8/10(Good. Soft shell crab were fantastic. Fried huge crab with much meat and easy to eat. Good coffee and super sweet but tasty toffee date pudding).
Price:3/10(Expensive. Dining at this place is quite expensive as you get the nice view of Darling Harbour and stylish wooden restaurant environment. If you dine here on saturday night, you will have a chance to view the Darling Harbour fireworks. Seafood platter at AUD99 for twin sharing, toffee date pudding at AUD14 and pasta around AUD10. Fortunately, this is a sponsored meal which I quite enjoyed it).
