Great northern Indian food at Govinds' Restaurant and Cafe @ Klang

Govinds' has been serving Northern Indian food for quite some time near Happy Garden housing area in Klang. The location is beside the main road and I didn't noticed it until recently when I am looking for good Northern Indian food around Klang area. Surprisingly after my first taste in this restaurant, the food is good and the price is reasonable for the environment. The place is quiet and with outdoor seating beside a pond. Its like you are eating at a some sort of resort! They also have indoor hall for special event such as wedding reception or party. Its a nice place to celebrate or to have small functions. The service was good when I were there during dinner and not many people if you come to this place before 7.00pm for dinner.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. The food were above average and tasty. The chicken tikka masala meat were so tender and moist. Fish Methi were so tasty as it contains many herbs and spices which makes the dish flavourful).
Price:7/10(Moderate. The total bill for the meal shown below for two persons was less than MYR50.00. With such a good dinner with nice environment, the price is quite reasonable. Chicken soup at MYR5.00, chicken tikka at MYR10.80 (boneless meat), fish methi at MYR14.00, jeera pulao rice at MYR4.00, cauliflower manch at MYR5.00 and plain rice at MYR1.50. My last dinner here, they don't charge GST. However they have minimal service charge of 5%).

Chicken tikka masala (boneless chicken meat). The meat were so tender and moist. The mint sauce were good as well. MYR10.80.

Northern Indian food at Garam Masala @ Bukit Tinggi, Klang

Garam Masala located near by of Tesco Bukit Tinggi Klang is a newly open indian food restaurant in the area. The food served here is authentic and taste good. They put a lot of spices when preparing the food and I like the amount of spices they have put in. The food were not overly spicy and taste good. My craving for good indian food since having a great one back in London is over when I found this restaurant. The staff were polite and good service as well.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. Authentic Northern Indian food restaurant. Boneless chilli chicken were good as cooked with pepper and moderate amount of fresh chillies. I love their zeera rice as it contain fragrant cumin seeds. The food served have balanced amount of spices which authentic Indian food needs to have it. The sauce were nicely done and delicious. Not overly spicy and suit many taste buds).
Price:7/10(Moderate. Boneless chilli chicken at MYR14.90, paneer tikka butter masala at MYR13.90, mixed pokara at MYR9.90, plain biryani rice at MYR6.90 & jeera rice at MYR4.00. Total bill came out to be less than MYR50.00 which is quite reasonable for good meal).

Paneer tikka butter masala. The sauce to cook this cheese dish were fantastic.

Jeera or zeera rice is delicious and fragrant cumin seeds.

Good briyani rice but if more moist will be better.

Mixed pokara. Fried vegetables and cheese with delicious sauce.

Simple and nice internal decoration.
