Kosher meal on ANA airline flight from Kuala Lumpur to New York
Fancy of having Kosher special meal on board looks like a wrong decision for me. During the 23 hours flight from KL to New York on ANA, I had to endure food that does not looks appetizing. I looked like a paranoid as all my meals and utensil are tightly wrapped and sealed to avoid contamination. I even have to inspect all my meals and open the seal before the flight attendent able to heat up my meals. Lol... So much hassle. Now I know that Kosher meal practice is even tighter than Halal meal. I quickly switch my meal back to normal meal for the return journey😁. Moral is don't choose Kosher meal if you don't have dietary restrictions.

Chicken mushroom pie at A Pie Thing @ Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya
A Pie Thing has been around for quite a while in Damansara Uptown serving good decent pie. You can have their savory or sweet pie. The good pie here is their chicken mushroom or mutton pie. The cafe environment at this place makes it good place for meet up and discussion or just to chill.
Taste:8/10(Good. I satisfied with the taste of the chicken mushroom pie here however I think they can still improve on the taste of the crust).
Price:4/10(Near expensive. The pie basic pie here with gravy cost MYR13.50).

Chicken mushroom pie with gravy. The filling were moist and tasty but the crust needs improvement as not much flavour on it.

Some of their savory pies.

You have the options to add mushy peas or mash potatoes as toppings.

Curry Pot - Halal and midnight food option in Las Vegas
Las Vegas can be considered as a city which never sleep. However, there are not many restaurant which open at midnight. I was hungry on one of the night and was walking around The Strip to find the best food option. I found the options that I have are either fast food or Indian food. I tried the Indian food stall in Venetian resort food court. The price were reasonable and if you are Muslim, their food is Halal as well. The downside is probably the waiting time. It takes almost 15 minutes for my meal to be ready.
Taste:8/10(Good. Their vegetable biryani although it was good but its too spicy for me. The curry is fragrant and taste of saffron. This makes me think back of curry that I had in London which taste was so delicious. They put a lot of spices into their curry which makes it tasty. The dish comes with raita which taste great).
Price:6/10(Moderate. Ordered vegetable biryani at USD9.00. Portion were big with plenty of rice).

Vegetable biryani with raita (a cold yogurt condiment). This meal contains mixed vegetables, basmati rice, yogurt, onion, saffron and herbs/spices.

The stall is in the Venetian resort food court.

Nicely prepared.

Taste good but too spicy.

Halal option available. This place good for midnight supper and reasonable price.

2-course lunch meal at Trevi @ Caesar Palace, Las Vegas, USA
This place is for you if you like to watch people as it located just beside fountain in The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Food is average but service is good. Tried this restaurant as I attracted to their 2-course meal set which is rather reasonable for Las Vegas Strip.
Taste:7/10(Moderate. Their signature dish frutti di Mare although with good ingredients but taste rather bland. The Trevi salad is too sourish and chicken parmigiana is good. Pizza is quite normal).
Price:5/10(Near expensive. 2-course lunch meal at USD20.00. Linguine al frutti di Mare at USD30.00).

Chicken parmigiana - Romano breaded and sauteed, served with linguine marinara.

Trevi salad - Italian home style chopped salad with mixed greens, tomatoes, mozzarella, celery, cucumber, hearts of palm and vinaigrette.

Delicious bread with garlic dip.

Margherita pizza - Roma tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil.

Caesar Salad - Romaine, Parmesan, croutons and dressing.

Their signature dish of Linguine al frutti di Mare - lobster, shrimp, scallops, mussels, tomatoes, scallions in seafood cream sauce.

Caesars Palace fountain.

Authentic nyonya dinner @ Nyonya Kitchen, Klang
Nyonya Kitchen outlet in Klang has been in the same spot for more than 10 years. They serving great tasting Nyonya cuisine at an affordable price. The service was fast and the staffs were attentive to guest needs. They just have renovation last year which the shop is cozy and inviting. I like their pandan chicken which they did it well. The food service size is generous serving and they do provide bottomless amount of rice and plain water. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and they have Halal certification as well.
Taste:8/10(Good. Their pandan chicken were their best dish. The pandan chicken is really moist and juicy makes you feel you will never have enough.
