SP Setia TRIO - One Day in Italy event - Complimentary food

TRIO by SP Setia is a new mixed development in Klang skyline with various convenience such as the proposed Tesco Bukit Tinggi LRT 3 station, well connected to major highways and urban lifestyle. The concept seems interesting but the price tag of the property reaching almost MYR400,000 for a small 650 square feet is quite pricey on Klang standard. Furthermore this development is based on commercial title which means your utilities and amenities fees will be higher.

Regardless of the high price tag, SP Setia are doing a good job in promoting the property via various events and activities thru out the months after the launching. The fun-filled Italian-themed event hosted by S P Setia Bhd feature activities for the entire family such this Italian cooking demonstration and an Italian marketplace. Visitors also get the chance to taste six Italian dishes and help choose the “champion” of them all. The event was held on 19th August 2017.

Ramen at Bari Uma @ Jaya Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya

Bari-Uma located on third floor of Jaya Shopping Centre in Petaling Jaya. Bari-Uma has over 40 restaurant in Japan and it is a new comer in term of ramen into Malaysian market. Besides ramen, they have delicious yakitori and Gyoza. The restaurant in Malaysia were managed by Nippon Delicious Sdn Bhd.

Taste:8/10(Good. The attraction here seems to be their pork belly yakitori which is succulent and fragrant. Adequately grilled to perfection with tasty sauce. Their ramen is good with not so thick soup. What lacking here is raw garlic which I think is a must for good ramen. They provide dried garlic instead which lack of flavour).
Price:6/10(Moderate. The lunch set is quite reasonable with a bowl of ramen of three options, yakitori or ice-cream or Gyoza as side dish and a glass of green tea. All this at MYR29.90).

Lunch set special. From 11.00am to 3.00pm. The lunch set includes 1 bowl of ramen, 2 sticks of pork belly yakitori or 3 pieces of Gyoza or ice-cream and 1 glass of green tea. All this for price of MYR29.90. They also have Yakitori special at night. It comes with yakitori combo which is 5 sticks of yakitori and a bottle of tiger beer at MYR19.90.

Keisei Skyliner package @ Narita Airport, Japan

During my recent trip to Japan, I found out a good deal by taking Keisei Skyliner instead of taking Keisei Limited Express train to Tokyo. Taking Keisei Skyliner is more convenient and faster. I took the combination of return trip of Skyliner with 1 day Metro unlimited travel pass. Normally a return ticket of Skyliner with 1 day of unlimited metro pass will cost 5650 Yen. But if I take this promotion, I am only paying 4500 Yen. Although Keisei Limited Express train only cost between 1000 - 1200 Yen but it will require 1 hour 30 minutes to travel from Narita airport to Tokyo. By taking Skyliner, you can save time as it only takes 45 minutes to reach Tokyo.

Where to buy: When you are in arrival hall, please look for Keisei train signboard or train to Tokyo signboard. The counter is located one floor lower after you past Japanese custom check.

This is what I get for 4500 Yen. A return ticket ofa Keisei Skyliner and 1 day metro. I don't plan to take many days of metro Tokyo this time as travelling on JR line is more convenient.
