Great San Francisco view from Dolores Park

Dolores Park is one of the famous park in San Francisco as it located at hilly side of Castro which offers great view of San Francisco city. This park is a recreational area for the near by residents as it is covered by lush green lawn shaded by tall palm trees, tennis courts, playground and club house. Besides that there are many events such as performances and carnivals held here. I love how there is different levels and how green it is. It is very well kept and and so peaceful. This is a good place for picnic as well.

Balmy street murals: Human rights message thru art @ San Francisco, USA

Balmy street murals located in the Mission District of San Francisco offers a virtual outdoor art gallery featuring colourful murals featuring expression of outrage over human rights and political abuse in central America. There were also a few murals featuring themes such as gentrification and Hurricane Katrina. This place is more of San Francisco local flavour and off the beaten path. You don't see it gets crowded like other tourist attraction areas. The alley is best viewed on foot either by yourself or on a guided tour from Precita Eyes Mural Arts. Entrance to the street to view the murals are free and you can learn the local culture as well.

Beautiful view of San Francisco from Twin Peaks

Twin Peaks offers great panoramic view of San Francisco and this is a famous spot for tourist who wanted to enjoy the view of the Bay Area. As San Francisco always covers in fog, many has suggested to visit this place later in the afternoon. Else you will be disappointed just to see the clouds with low visibility to view the Bay Area. Do take note that the parking space at the summit were quite limited as well during peak hours. There are telescopes for a few coins which allows you to view San Francisco from distance. It can get breezy so take a sweater up there.

On the way up to Twin Peaks summit.

This view was captured around 11.30am in the morning. You can see that the city of San Francisco was quite foggy.

Good value super burrito from Taqueria El Farolito @ San Francisco, USA

Taqueria El Farolito serving good budget Mexican food. The portion are huge and tasty as well. Besides burritos, they also have tacos, quesadillas, nachos, enchiladas and suiza. San Francisco have a special variation of burrito which called as super burrito. What makes super burrito different compared to normal burrito is the extra ingredient which is avocado, sour cream and cheese.

Taste:8/10(Good. The super burrito that we ordered were good and huge with lots of beef. They provide salsa spicy sauce which was a great compliment. The beef, rice and beans taste very well when mixed together).
Price:7/10(Moderate. Super burrito at USD6.75. This is cheap, simple and filling dinner).

We ordered super burritos. Since the portion was quite huge, we both ordered just one.

Super burrito full of goodness. Contains rice, beans, fresh tomatoes, onion, cilantro, salsa, avocado and cheese sour sauce.

Delicious breakfast of Taylor Street Coffee Shop @ San Francisco, USA

We had our breakfast at Taylor Street Coffee Shop due to near proximity from our hostel. The little coffee shop also gets quite crowded and a line forms outside the shop if you gets a bit late for breakfast. That's shows that this shop must be serving good breakfast. Coming to San Francisco without trying a good breakfast is something missing. The shop is quite small. Do come early for breakfast to beat the queue. We were lucky no need to queue as we reached here around 8.30am.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. Do order their Millionaire's bacon as it is unique compared to other bacon that you had in USA. The bacon is thick and have slight tint of spiciness which makes the bacon sweet, spicy and tasty. The egg benedict with bacon and mushroom were a good combination as well).
Price:5/10(Near expensive. The price for our breakfast were reasonable by San Francisco standard as everything in San Francisco is expensive. Two person with the food shown below were less than USD40.00. The portion were big and we are able to skip our lunch by having the breakfast here).

Scramble eggs with Millionaire's bacon. Consist of toast, salad, bacon and eggs.

New American dinner at Olea @ San Francisco, USA

Olea is a small restaurant in Nob Hill San Francisco which serve good New American cuisine. The style is more of combination of American, French & Italian cuisine. The restaurant environment is upscale but yet casual setting. The food here emphasis more of local fresh organic produce. This restaurant serves new items each week and making changes to the meals to suit the seasons. The meal shown in this blog may not available but you can use this a guide and what to expect when dining at this restaurant. Fortunately, we reached this restaurant early in the evening around 5.30pm. Else without reservation, its hard to eat dinner here. By the time we finished the meal, the restaurant already full. The seats are limited here.

Taste:10/10(Excellent. The way they prepared the meal is unique. For example the sauteed kale in lamb shank is well prepared with a degree of crispness which I never had before. The lamb shank was also grilled to perfection. Pork stewed pasta were fantastic as well).
Price:4/10(Near expensive. Lamb shank with sauteed kale priced at USD18.00, pork stew pasta at USD16.00 and orange tiramisu at USD9.00).
