Most of people would think that you can only do luxury shopping in Ginza, Tokyo. Many do not know that there are one popular budget clothing outlet in Ginza which is GU. Unlike Uniqlo, GU is a budget line of clothing from Uniqlo. Besides clothing, Ginza also have many good restaurants, dessert shops and electrical equipment stores. Ginza is a place where virtually every leading brand name in fashion and cosmetics has a presence. Here also you can find huge Japanese department stores such as Mitsukoshi and Matsuya.

This shop selling so many types of mochi and dorayaki. Its sakura mochi which is wrapped by cherry leaf is delicious but the price is expensive at 280 Yen per piece.

At the top of Ricoh building in Ginza, there is wind generator and solar panels. The floor below with a screen showing the public how much green energy it generates. Green energy is the way to go. No wonder Tokyo is such a huge megalopolis but the air still clean.

Best roasted chicken of Ikkaku @ Yokohama, Japan

Found this restaurant via trip advisor by sorting the best restaurant serving Japanese food at a reasonable price in Yokohama. Ikkaku came out top and all the good reviews were in Japanese. The shop is quite difficult to find as it is located on 6th floor of a building near Yokohama station. I am the only foreigner visiting the shop and fortunately the staff able to speak basic English. All the menu were in Japanese and I know people come here for their chicken dish. So I follow the crowd as well. Do expect to wait around 20 minutes for them to prepare the roast chicken. The meal is worth waiting.

Taste:10/10(Excellent. The roast chicken here is excellent. The meat were so tender and flavourful. Although a bit oily, but the taste were so good and melts in your mouth. Slightly spicy and salty which goes well with rice. If you prefer to have it with beer, it is well recommended).
Price:6/10(Moderate. The chicken thigh price at 890 Yen. I add rice, soup and pickles at 365 Yen. Total include tax at 1,356 Yen).

Rock N Roll at Yoyogi Park @ Tokyo

Yoyogi Park is the best place to go in Tokyo to view the Harajuku styled costume. Be sure to visit this place on sunday where you can view all sorts of activities by the local Japanese. The parks are the places for club meetings and practice sessions and even play rehearsals. Yoyogi draws all sorts of talent, from horn players to hip-hop dancers to rockabilly gangs. There are Elvis-inspired pompadours, who usually gather by the park's east side entrance on Sundays to jam to American pop music from the '50s. Nearby Yoyogi park, there is Harajuku bridge which always gathered together Gothic Lolitas and Cosplay kids especially on sunday.

Salcedo Saturday Market in Makati, Manila

I found out this market from Google Maps which actually located quite near to our hotel (Fraser Place Makati). It is just 5 minutes away walking distance. The market seems like our "pasar malam" in Malaysia. The unique thing in this market is that you can find a variety stuff of food which can't find in Malaysia. The location is within the expatriate living area and condominiums. You can find many Filipino, French, Spanish, Chinese & Italian cuisine. Great that I am able to visit this market on the saturday morning at 7.30am before I going for class at 9am.

This market is actually located inside the Jamie C. Velasquez Park.
