Oyster Night dinner at Champignons at Oasis @ Ara Damansara

Champignons in Oasis Ara Damansara is a French restaurant serving freshly made french cuisine. Visited them as they have their first oyster night. The food were good and they have many customers looking forward to try their oysters.

Taste:8/10(Good. The oysters were good and quite fresh but the selection is quite limited and small size. The restaurant has wrongly estimate the demand for their oysters and we feel not enough even though we have taken 2 dozens. The first round were ok but second round oysters were small. Truffle chicken breast with risotto mushroom taste great with very tender meat and smooth. Sausages were great as well. A bit disappointing that they only give one lamb sausage on the platter. It should have 2 each).
Price:3/10( Expensive. The oysters at MYR7.00 a piece, truffle chicken breast with risotto rice at MYR45.00, house wine at MYR30.00 and sausage platter at MYR35.00).

I would recommend you to come here to taste their well executed food such as the trufle chicken breast and their homemade sausages. They have a good lunch set deals as well but of course its for other menu.

The size of oysters on first round selection is quite big.

Good house wine.

Nice oysters but selection is quite limited. Second round oysters a bit small and seems not enough for the customers.

Noodles with fish and oysters @ B & Best Restaurant, Kelana Jaya

B & Best restaurant is a seafood noodles shop which allow you to pick the types of seafood you want to have with your noodles – prawns, fish, scallops, abalone, lala and oyster. You can opt for either soup or dry version of noodles/bee hoon or kuey teow. For kicking taste, you may ask for pork lard to be added into your noodles.

Taste:8/10(Good. Fresh seafood of your choice in noodles. The soup is clear and the fish was soft and sweet. They sliced the fish properly without much bones. The oysters is bursting with flavour in my mouth. Eat this with their home made sambal. Its awesome).
Price:6/10(Moderate. The bowl of grouper fish and oysters goodness cost MYR25.00. There are quite a lot of oysters in my bowl of noodles. The price depends on what types of seafood that you order).

Wedding dinner at Mitasu Japanese Restaurant @ Kuala Lumpur

This is my first time I had a meal in Japanese restaurant for wedding dinner and whats great about the dinner is the amount food that you can ordered. Yes, it's a buffet and ala-carte style of menu provided on each table. More than 80+ items to choose from. We can choose what we would like to eat and the amount that we want to order. Must make sure that we can finish it before we order. Cannot be too greedy also. Else the host are punishable from food wastage. Drinkwise were great too with availability of many Japanese wines such as Umeshu, Sake and Yuzu wine. Overall great experience and something different from common Chinese restaurant dinner. Couples nowadays will try to have alternative type of dining for their wedding to create a more memorable experience. We all feel satisfied with the quality and quantity of the Japanese food served in this restaurant. Taste wise is great. Thank you Qing Ying and wish both of you good healthy and happily ever after.

Three Michelin star dinner at Le Bernardin Restaurant @ New York, USA

I went there for dinner to try out their famous meal. Eating in their main dining room is too much hassle that they need a blazer or dress in suit. Main dining room also requires reservation far ahead of time. Since my time in New York is limited, I choose to have their lounge menu instead. With the hype surrounding this restaurant, I expect the food to be among the best. However, not all the items that I ordered was excellent. I really coming here to be impressed but somehow they have not met my expectation. The restaurant atmosphere and the main dining room was grand and nice.

Taste:8/10(Good. The restaurant were nice and food were good but it's not outstanding which I think a 3 Michelin star restaurant should have. I have tasted other one Michelin star restaurants which served much tastier food. Service were great and very formal. I was very satisfied with the warm lobster with truffle. The dish were excellent and taste great. The Le Bernardin salmon rillette were quite normal. Nothing to shout about the oyster as its come in its natural form which was barely touched. I liked the hazelnut praline as the chocolate were rich and good praline flavour).
Price:1/10(Very expensive. Oyster priced at USD4.00 per piece, salmon rillette at USD22.00, lobster with truffle "en brioche" at USD27.00 and hazelnut praline at USD22.00. Total bill exclude tax and tips were USD83.00).

Highly rated Le Bernardin of New York. Often quoted as the top restaurant in New York.

Bread and butter. Not impressive.

Oyster of East coast and West coast varieties. Served with vinaigrette.

Le Bernardin's salmon rillette with toast. This meal was not impressive. The salmon rillette is almost like canned salmon bread spread.

Salmon rillette spread on toast.

Warm lobster and truffle "en Brioche". This is the best meal of this dinner.

Hazelnut Praline - flourless hazelnut cake, Gianduja mousse, orange curd and Praline ice-cream.

Delicious Japanese dinner at Jyu Raku @ Subang Jaya

It has been a while that I didn't treat myself with good Japanese meal. Since its Tuesday night, I might as well head straight to Subang Jaya SS15 for a good Japanese dinner. I did tried Jyu Raku previously and I do like their quality of their food especially their dinner sets which comes with sushi. Their sushi were good as the portion of fish meat always cover the rice. This makes their sushi similar to the experience you had it in Japan.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. Great sushi with generous portion of sashimi. Oysters were very fresh and tasty. Appetizer given were delicious. Udon noodles was succulent and tasty).
Price:4/10(Near expensive. Twin oyster at MYR24, udon and sushi set at MYR38 and toro sushi at MYR6.00 each. There are 10% service charge and 6% GST).

Very fresh toro tuna.

Kitchen area of Jyu Raku.

Delicious fresh oysters. The size was huge. Compliment with lemon, soy sauce and Tabasco sauce. The presentation of the oysters were great.

Fresh and tasty oyster.

Fresh sushi. Consist of toro tuna, amber jack, tamago and salmon.
